About this ebook

Set in the distant future in the New World Order in the year 2027.
A University Professor created problems among her students by using the students as models in modeling and mimicking power-ups used in video games. All the students were disturbed and reluctant; they were closer to having problems than was ever the case when this university professor made the preservation of objectivity their only concern. The students were puzzled over what to believe. But, she could not complete this modeling experiment; she got her walking papers.

Twenty years later, the modeling experiment played out.

Bellum, residing in Belgium was caught between two worlds: the country where he lived and from which too often he felt excluded (Belgium), and his country of origin, where he did not feel at home either. He orchestrated his agenda.

Gunia, Secretary General of the United Nations faced a dilemma; she was caught between two stools. Neither solution was easy or perfect.

Neither the adepts nor the United Nations could stop Bellum from enacting his agenda. The only man capable of stopping him was a lunatic, called “The Mosquito”.

How do you explain when things do not go as we assumed? Or better, how do you explain when others were able to achieve things that seem to defy all of the assumptions.
Bellum, Gunia and Mosquito have the answers to these questions.

How do you explain when things do not go as we assumed? Or better, how do you explain when others were able to achieve things that seem to defy all of the assumptions.

Bellum, Gunia and Mosquito have the answers to these questions.

    Prologue

In the summer, when the leaves danced in the summer breeze, the cave was submerged in roaring silence. After a short wait, he was attended to.

Your name please? Oceanus asked this man.

    Mosquito, the young man responded.

Hahaha, they all laughed hysterically. The other members of the group laughed.

Mosquito cracked the Uranians up with his utterance.

Their laughter erupted like a volcano. It was like sunshine inside the dark cave, transforming the sound energy into light energy.

Ah, aaah, Oceanus grinned. But he wanted to laugh, but he could control the laughter. His laughter was silent and controllable, but used more facial muscles, eyes narrowed. He waived a hand in dismissal. At one point as he swung his hand into the air, he fixed his gaze at the others and tried to implore them to maintain silence.

When Oceanus squealed and other members laughed, it broke the spell. Usually, they do not laugh in their gatherings.

Mosquito? ah hmnn, the Oceanus asked

His face was blindfolded with a black cloth. He was roped at his waist. Mosquito had Charley horse; there was stiffness in his leg. The stillness matches the blackness under the blindfold. Lack of self-knowledge is like rotting away in the maze with the blindfold on, Mosquito thought to himself in his deep thought. To go on would be like stepping blindfold into the dark, and he was ready to do what it takes so as to achieve his goals. Even blindfolded he can see it won't be long before he would be fulfilled. Competition and success are to see who can go through the obstacles. He knew that this was a come hell or high water situation. He found this group typically weird.

It was warm, hot. The interior of this cave was hot and steamy. This building was full of the odor of perspiration and fear. I don’t know how to tell you what fear smells like, but once you smell it you know what it is. It is overpowering.

Now, with your eyes wide shut look around you and listen to the voices whispering loud and clear. Do not be afraid. Remember, each symbol is a doorway into your awakeness. The eternal light awaits; it is open for madmen only. As above, so below, and as within, so without. When we dream that we are dreaming, the seeker of the blue flower tells us, we are close to awakening. You approach the portal and must decide. Are you willing to take the risk? Are you ready to have your world turned upside down? Are you ready to join a society whose members know each other at a glance, which pay no dues, take no minutes? Whose meetings last eternally and take place among the burning sands, and in the virtual city of lost worlds? Do you want to know a secret? the Oceanus asked the candidate.

The Oceanus, a middle height man with crooked teeth, big nose, receding jaw. His teeth were blinding white. His eyes were as wide as saucers. The gaping hole between his teeth would have swallowed America. He has a deep husky voice. In terms of membership, he was the oldest member of this society. He was as old in the fraternity that his social security number could be 1. He was so ugly that they didn’t give him a costume when he auditioned for Star Wars. He was so fat that that when he walks by the TV, you will miss three.

The initiation rite was performed in a cave, which symbolized the fallen nature of the Earth.

Yes, the initiate, who bore Mosquito as his alias answered, he knew the ropes:

    he understood the details.

The initiate was kept and held in a sunken chamber. The hidden image of the initiate light sunken into darkness. Assisted and guided by two members of this group, the initiate entered the cave by descending seven steps that were carved into the cave, upon whose walls were painted mystic symbols. As he descended, his footsteps echoed off the block cave walls.

He descended. He was nervous. He was on pins and needles. He was pushed to the center of a circle drawn on the ground of the cave.

You must have one form of sickness for continuity among us. No sex, only masturbation. No wife, only girlfriend. You must have only one testicle, no alcohols, and no cigarettes. Members should not be wearing panties, in our society nothing is secret, and we can reveal to the non members our membership. You must rape once in a week. It is illegal to have email address, no telephone, no television, only postal address. It is illegal to spend raw cash. You must provoke somebody at least once in a week. You must beat a feminine gender once in a month. A union can be considered valid under the grounds that the party is deemed to be, collectively, idiots, madmen or lunatics. Illegal for a woman to be on top during sex. You must be nude in your house even in winter, you must be drunk in the pub anytime you go to a pub, you must buy the services of a prostitute once in a year, to be imperfect is the ultimate perfection, walk forwards, by going backwards the Oceanus stated the rules and regulations of their secret society.

Do you have my balls? Oceanus the leader asked this initiate.

The whole cave was filled with silence.

Mosquito wanted to bite his tongue; he did not feel like talking. But he had no choice. He had to talk; otherwise he would become an Eighty-Six. These were the questions that any initiate would be asked with regards to the initiation into the Uranus secret society.

Talk? the leader of the group, who was called the Oceanus, echoed stupidly. He barked at the candidate.

I've been to the dentist many times so I know the drill, Mosquito said

Oceanus stared at him with disbelief. Oceanus did not fully understand what Mosquito meant by his statement, not knowing that mosquito was an advanced beginner.

Authentic replica, authentic reproduction Mosquito said to himself and smiled.

I am reading a book about anti-gravity. it is impossible to put down, people who live in mud house should not be fighting karate Oceanus replied to Mosquito statement.

Do you have my balls now? Oceanus asked Mosquito for the second time.

No, the initiate responded, his voice has changed.

Why? the leader asked the initiate.

I was busy inflating my egos, the initiate responded. The Uranus secret society wanted its members that were chosen to be humble, disciplined, men of integrities and values.

Are you ready to become a new man, a reformed man without pride, a humble and a classical man, independent, honor and a rational man? the leader asked the initiate.

    Yes, the initiate responded.

"Are you ready and willing to exchange your ego for
