About this ebook

Ashlyn
I’ve moved away from my overprotective brothers and am finally going to do all the things I’ve always wanted to. The things I couldn’t do while my siblings hovered over me all the time. First on my list is a tattoo, and next, I’m going to get Braydon’s attention. He lives next door to my grandparents, and I’ve loved him for years. Only issue is, he’s never even given me a second glance. I intend to change that. This Christmas, I’m going to get all I want.
Braydon
Little Ashlyn is all grown up, and is now living next door to me, with her grandparents. Imagine my surprise when she turns up at my tattoo shop, but is it ink she really wants, or is she just trying to get my attention? All I know is that she’s perfect and I have a feeling if I have even a small taste, I’ll never be able to give her up. I know all I want for Christmas is my new neighbor.

I'm a mother of four amazing children. I started writing down my story ideas in high school, and never really stopped. Writing, I have to say, is my salvation. After I've gotten all the kids in bed and have cleaned up, I sit at my computer or sometimes a notebook with a pencil and relax, write, and escape.I love to hear from any of my readers, so feel free to send me an email and like me on Facebook.

    Message from the Author

This book is set in Australia. In Australia the legal age to drink, vote, get married and so on is eighteen. The characters speak Australian English, so if you see the word ‘arse’ instead of ‘ass’ it is because that’s how we say it in Australia where the book is set. If you find a word you haven’t heard before, look it up or message me I’d be happy to talk to you.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy my book.

I was eighteen. I could do this. This was my Christmas present, and if I could get more than just the tattoo, it would be the best present I’d gotten in years. Braydon Frost had been my crush and in my fantasies since I hit puberty, or since he moved in next door to my grandparents’ house a little over seven years ago. Braydon wasn’t like any man I’d really seen before. He didn’t fit my friends’ definition of gorgeous. He wasn’t over six feet tall, he wasn’t muscular—well, not the buff muscle that they considered hot. He didn’t have the masculine model face that was so popular right now. He wasn’t even in his mid- to late twenties, but to me, none of these things mattered. When I gazed at him, I saw his bright blue eyes that reminded me of days I spent gazing up at the sky; his tats that would take me days to study and find every one; his shoulder-length dirty blond hair that was always in a man-bun. But what captivated me every time was his lips. They were big, full, and plump, and made me long to feel them all over me.

One of my favorite things was that he seemed nothing like any of my brothers. My brothers were all over six feet tall and into sports. They went to the gym almost every day, were big and muscular and didn’t have tats—well, none that I knew of, anyway. They were the type all my friends had crushes on, and most of my friends did have a crush on one of my brothers.

They were also the reason I’d never had a boyfriend.

I loved my brothers, but they were a handful, and I was the baby of the family. My parents were amazing, but pretty much just let my brothers do as they liked. My mother was a nurse, and my father was a sports doctor. They’d wanted me to stay in Sydney and go to uni there, but I not only needed space from all of them all, I liked Newcastle, where my grandparents lived. Back home, I felt like I was one among many. It was crowded, and I could never do anything without my brothers hovering. Here, I got to have a pet—well, it was my grandparents’ dog, but I’d always claimed Lucky as mine. Here, I ran alone in the afternoon at the park across the road. Here, I
