About this ebook
The real issue is the changes you must go through and who you become in the process.
“It’s not being homeless that matters,” my rich dad said. “It’s about who you are. Keep striving and you’ll become somebody. Quit, and you’ll also become somebody, but not the same person.”
The Changes You Go Through
For those of you contemplating going from job security to financial security, all I can offer you are words of encouragement. For Kim and me, it took being homeless and desperate before I found the courage to move forward. That was our path, but it definitely doesn’t have to be your path.
As I described earlier, there are ready-made systems that can help you cross the bridge to the right side of the CASHFLOW Quadrant.
The real issue is the change you must go through internally and who you become in the process. For some people, the process is easy.
For others, the journey is impossible.
Money Is a Drug
Rich dad always said to Mike and me, “Money is a drug.” The main reason he refused to pay us while we worked for him was because he never wanted us to become addicted to working for money. “If you become addicted to money, it’s hard to break that addiction.”

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5To call this a good book would be an understatement of monumental proportions. An understanding of the fundamental concepts revealed within should be required for graduation from middle school. You'll say to yourself and others; "Why on earth didn't they tell me about this in school?" The answer, regrettably, is because they didn't know. I predict this is a book you'll read more than once. Sincerely, Stenn
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A must read book for developing for financial intelligence.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A simplified way of looking at finances. A bit overly simplistic but the ideas are interesting.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I found this audio book to be fantastic. While some of the data is out of date due to "The laws being changed as soon as this is recorded", to quote Dave Ramsey, all in all the ideas I believe to be sound. Hearing the audio book is pushing me to take the next action to try to move myself from the E to the I and/or B quadrants. I go to loook for a new mentor and some other ideas. I also saw the insight about important people in my life, like my wife and my dad, which certainly fall in the S quadrant, even if they have never succesfully run their own business. Hearing this audio book also makes me want to again purchase the full version of Kiyosaki's first book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" both for myself as well as for those who are important to me. It's challenging, and can be overwhelming. While still swimming in personal debt, I don't want to get sidetracked, but I certainly don't want to remain where I am. I hope you will take a look and embrace where you are. Determine if you are primarly an Employee, a Sel-Employeed Person, a Business Owner, or an Investor. Know how to identify problems and provide solutions in all four and "work smarter not harder" to better your life.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Genuinely different way of looking at income/expenses and business cash flow. Worth the read.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5There were gems of wisdom throughout the book. It was, however, often repetitive and the lessons that Robert offers were a little unclear. There were great principles and tips; I would enjoy some more examples, methods and practical wisdom beyond the very important first step of theory.
I look forward to reading more of Robert's work. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Me encanto, abre tu mente y te reta a pensar distinto.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The problem with this book is that is so redundant. Some things are repeated a dozen times.
Still, it's a must-read. It can be the book that changes your life. Seriously.
