About this ebook

John is a gay Midwesterner looking to spread his fabulous wings and fly away from his dreary Ohio hometown. Taking his recent firing as a sign that he should do just that, John packs his bags and heads to NYC. His best friend from high school lets him crash on her couch, but she doesn’t mention that she has an incredibly hot roommate named Hayden. Problem is, Hayden is as straight as they come, and giving in to his womanizing tendencies and bringing a new girl home every night. As John gets to know Hayden a little better and realizes he isn’t the nicest guy in the world, his schoolboy crush begins to fade. That’s too bad for Hayden, who is harboring a secret attraction and is interested in exploring a side of his sexuality that he’s never unleashed before. As John attempts to land the job of his dreams, Hayden decides it’s time to play nice and concocts a last ditch effort to show his new roommate that he’s not a bad guy after all.

I walked into my boss’s office with some trepidation. I knew I was on thin ice. I had been late more days than not in the last week, and I was even leaving early. I had simply stopped caring, and I was about to get dinged for it.

I worked at a small company in southern Ohio which sold office supplies to other offices. I had been working there for a year since I had graduated from college. It was a good job. I was a people person, friendly and funny and witty, and I sold well. But it was boring.

And it was Ohio. That was the worst part. I had lived in Ohio my whole life, and I wanted nothing more than to get out. I needed to get out. I was ... better than Ohio.

My boss sat behind his desk and didn’t look up as I walked into his office. His name was Mr. Peters, and he was a big fat man with a bald head and a droopy mustache. I grinned inwardly as I sat down across from his desk, wondering if he wouldn’t write me up if I sucked his dick. He had a wife and two kids, both in high school. I was pretty sure he wasn’t gay. I was as gay as they came, and made no effort to hide it, even in my conservative small town. Thinking of Mr. Peters leaning back in his chair, his pants around his ankles, his little cock hard and jutting from underneath his folds of fat, it amused me, though certainly did not light a fire within my loins.

    John, my boss said.

Mr. Peters, I know, I’ve been a mess, I said. I opened my mouth to say more, but he held his hand up to cut me off.
