    Rain, Rain, Rain

Noah's ark floated upon the water.

The dove carried in its mouth an olive branch.

MANY, many years ago the people of the world were very wicked. They had forgotten all about God. All their good things came from Him, but they never offered up thanks to Him for any of their blessings or obeyed Him in any way.

So God sent a man to preach to them and to try to help them to be good. This man's name was Noah.

But Noah and his sons kept right on working until the ship was finished. Then, as God directed him, Noah led into the ark his family and more than one of all the different kinds of animals and birds. Then Noah shut the door of the ark and waited for the rain to come.

The wicked people still would not believe that there would be a flood. They thought Noah was mad!

But after a while it began to rain. It rained harder and harder. It rained for forty days and forty nights until every living thing was destroyed.

But Noah's ark floated upon the water, and finally it came to rest upon Mount Ararat. Noah and his family and the animals and
