It used to be that learning grammar was one of the most boring exercises ever, but not anymore! Using his trademark personality-based approach, Basher illustrates each grammar basic - from parts of speech to sentence components to groupings and agreements - with its own character, who explains exactly what makes them tick and how they are used. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Entertaining and educational. Provides clear, well-rounded explanations of the basic rules of English grammar and parts of speech. Uses personification and humor to enlighten and simplify. A fresh take on teaching the rules of language. Appropriate for children of late elementary school age and beyond. Would recommend.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a great book that helps children learn about grammar. This book can be best used by teachers to help explain to students about grammar. The pictures in the book are great because they give the children visuals. For a run on sentence, there is a picture of a man running, which children would find amusing.
