About this ebook

What follows is a collection of photos from my early morning walks around downtown Hattiesburg in May 2009. The downtown emerged in the late 19th century, before automobiles and electricity. As it turned into the 20th century, the town's first "skyscrapers" emerged, shaping the contour of the city, which are visible from all locations in my walk. I have selected 14 of these images for this e-book.
