About this ebook

A young knight faces the castle of the tyrant that has plagued his land for so long. Years of torment, anguish, and misery shall all be repaid today. All he needs to do is defeat the man's champion, and justice will be his. The one thought plaguing his mind as he does this though, is why the champion wears no real armor.

Michael Hudson

My name is Michael Hudson, and I am a twenty year old writer who started writing originally for almost two and a half years before turning to original fiction. I work to keep myself alive while trying to persue this, so I am definitely in starving writer status, but I don't mind. So long as I can share what I write with those who may be interested, I'm happy. Oh, I may also be somewhat scramble brained, hence all the shorts, and the fact that I will mostly likely be working on more than one novella/novel at a time, as I can't just focus on one project at any given time without breaks.

Protecting What's Most Important - Michael Hudson

Krag walked up to the castle, gritting his teeth as he took it in. The black spires, the towering walls, and ornate gate of the castle should not be simply sights to him, but instead, challenges.. And yet when he looked down, he saw the letter that brought him to this place, inviting him to come slay the king that he despised. This can’t be so simple.

Hello sir! Are you by any chance Krag Matheren?

He looked down to the smaller girl that was standing before him. She was in a fairly plain maid’s outfit, at least, from what he had expected of a rapist and a torturer’s servant. Instead of any large skirts or fancy trim, she only wore a black blouse and breeches that covered her legs. She did not even have what the mayor of his home village demanded of his servants, what with her small chest that was outlined by the fabric. It was odd to him indeed.
