Tex Soldier up, Bairy, or are you afraid to man up! Bairy You can't do it, so why should you see that. I've got to have my dog before the start! Mer, a wee bit shrill 5 minutes, guys! Our three troopers ran to their seats in the upper deck centre isle, front seats.

Bairy So the bet is no home run Blues vs. Home run Blues! Mer This is serious, a DOG is at stake. Bairy And you can't use magick. Mer to Tex Hey, you a magician? Tex Not me! Hairy is just playing you! Mer Whatever...winner takes the Dog!

Spiff C. Bloggy of the Blues is up first. He's known for his blogging not hitting! Bairy Mer you know how I like it. Run out darlin' and have it ready for me. This'll be over in a minute or two. Mer I'm not your go-to girl... Spiff's words cut in It's a swing and a miss. Strike One! Bairy C'mon Mer, just do it, Please! Spiff Am I imagining the wind strength, is a hurricane starting? As he reached for his drink, Tex uttered some words quietly and willed Bloggy to hit the ball. Spiff He...He hit a Home Run!!! I can't believe it. Bloggy can't hit the ball? It must be a first, it's a miracle! The Blues crowd went wild over their Hometown Team!

Bairy stood up, then fell back in his seat as if shell shocked. Then it dawned on him. Tex. You used magick, you cheated! Tex Half smiling ...prove it. Bairy logic in tow, The wind has stopped. You caused a diversion! I know you cheated. By this time Mer had returned with the hotdog, and handed it to Bairy. In disgust Bairy handed it to Tex, and said God will avenge me for your transgression. Tex, gleefully, taking the dog and opening the paper covering Don't be a soar loser! Tex then looked his dog, and stared at it. It was charred to a charcoal crisp!

Bairy to Tex, a year later If you're such a great magician, why are you so poor? Tex, blushing with embarrassment I'm broke, not poor. Bairy shook his head It's your life. But what does Mer say? She's hurting having to give you hand outs for all your shortfalls. Mer, who just walked over to them "Tex is working on a show aren't
