Marcus Neary thought about trying music after yet another doomladen news item. He switched his radio off. “COVID-this, COVID that. I don’t need any more cortisol coursing through my body, thanks very much!”

Seconds later, his phone rang.

“Marcus speaking.”

“G’day Marcus. It’s Harry… Harry Scott. How’s it going?”

Marcus smiled. “Hey man, I’m good thanks. How about you? Been a long time!”

“Oh, are you in the US? Have I got the time zones wrong? Did I…”

Marcus laughed. “No, I’m in Australia – have been since all this virus stuff blew up.”

“OK good, just that your accent threw me a little…”

“Accent? Are you serious?”

“Not used to being called ‘man’!”

“Mmm, better watch that. How are you dealing with CO …with the virus?” There was silence for a few moments. “Harry? You still there?”
