    Ever wonder what inhuman, alien intelligences think about concepts like freedom? Well, wonder no more. Here are two flash fiction stories at the opposite ends of the spectrum. One is a night story about an inhuman intelligence looking for freedom from the bonds that keep them from our necks. The second is a story of day and sky. An opposite story of a non-human's quest to learn about freedom from other dimensions.

    These stories are part of a much larger anthology of flash fiction stories called "World Shards." Each one is a brief look into a world different from our own. .
