About this ebook
An epic space opera, adventure...
This thrilling twelve part series combines aspects of mythology with new technology, as the human race evolves into its true Galactic Human form.
Humanity has been allocated a sector of the galaxy, and the dawning of the ‘interstellar age’ has triggered a period of tremendous upheaval.
This seems to be a thousand miles away from Jamie, who has been having a series of nightmares. With his parent’s away he witnesses an attempted murder. If this is not shocking enough, the assassin is now coming after him, and what he has been seeing in his nightmares suddenly turns into reality...
Revised edition.

I was very close to both of my parents who were my best friends, and I have lost count of the number of happy times we shared, and all of the creativity and laughter. Like my beloved father Joe, my mother Margaret was so special, and my total inspiration. I would therefore like to dedicate this book to their memory.

Introduction
The Earth had lain abandoned, neglected in its backwater for what had seemed like an eternity. Finally with the revelation that there had indeed been contact with at least one alien species, and that there was a star gate on the far side of the moon. The United Nations had been called into emergency session, where official contact was made with those who lay on the other side.
Representatives from both sides met for high-level talks, with the citizens of Earth being invited to join a collection of other species known as the Galactic Council, where they were allocated their own sector of the galaxy.
The dawning of this new interstellar age triggered a period of tremendous upheaval, as both sides struggled to accommodate each other. But, whilst this process was going on, no one stopped for one moment to consider that there may be others who lay outside the Galactic Council…

The shrill of an alarm pierced the air, causing Jamie’s hand to venture out from beneath the duvet. He was searching instinctively for the clock that sat on his bedside table. A few moments passed as his hand probed the darkness, before returning to the comfort of the soft material. Its mission had ended in failure, so a pillow was hastily pulled over his head, as he dozed on regardless.
He lay there with his arms and legs stretched out lifelessly, with the only movement in the room confined to the numbers on the clock face, which continued to change in sequence. Things would have remained the same, if he had not rolled onto his side.
Jamie was now perched precariously right on the edge of the mattress with the alarm still sounding, although all its efforts were in vain, as he was oblivious to its waking tones. Then all of a sudden, he lost his balance rolling forwards and hanging in mid-air for a moment, before crashing to the floor.
He was now in a state of rapid eye movement, convinced that he was clambering out of bed, and making his way downstairs. In his dream, Jamie crossed the hallway into the lounge, and opened the patio doors. He was now outside, standing by the hedge at the end of the lawn, peering down the embankment towards the empty railway line. There was no sign of activity, apart from a few birds that were chirping away happily in the sunshine.
He stood there for a few moments watching as one of them swooped down, rising sharply into the misty sky. His eyes followed it up, until he heard a distant rumble. Jamie turned to see some smoke on the horizon, and stood there for a few seconds wondering where it was coming from.
He could not quite make it out, as the smoke began to spread. The birds had suddenly become very silent; in fact there was hardly any sound at all. It made Jamie felt very uneasy, as he strained his ears to listen. He thought he could hear something in the distance, as the smoke continued to rise.
Jamie stood transfixed, as that something began to push its way through the murk, and his jaw dropped as he caught a glimpse of a shiny metallic disc. It was just hovering there, and then all of a sudden, it shot out a jet of flames towards him. He turned to run, but was grabbed by a man with cold dark staring eyes.
Jamie began to struggle, trying to escape their hypnotic stare, as he had never seen eyes like them before. They looked really evil and seemed to hold a horrifying secret. He then felt the man’s grip tighten, and was unable to break free as he let out a terrified scream…
Aargh!
Still screaming he continued to struggle until the man shook him violently as a piercing shrill nearly burst his eardrums.
Jamie!
Someone shouted out his name as he screamed again.
Aargh!
Jamie, wake up!
His whole body was being shaken, so much so that he almost felt as though his bones were going to rattle.
You’re having a nightmare!
The piercing shrill sounded like an alarm going off, as his eyes shot open to see his big sister Sam crouching over him. For a few seconds Jamie did not know where he was feeling totally disorientated. Then, as he quickly regained his senses he reached up and put his arms around her hugging his sister tightly.
Aargh!
His scream gently subsided as he clung to her, so relieved to see her crouching there. It had been an awful nightmare and his heart was pounding so quickly that he thought it was going to explode. But, that was not the only sensation he felt, as she was all wet, having come
