Writing On the Wall

'Writing On the Wall,' is a flash fiction collection of three stories: The Writing On the Wall, Red, and Unknown.

The Writing On the Wall: Two people living in the city, make their way in to each others lives through an artist's eyes. A young well known graffiti artist, develops inspiration from a beautiful woman he meets in the busy streets of New York City. When he gets his hands on a blank wall, he brings her to life with the spray of a can. After much time passes, the ambitious woman discovers the mural of herself, only to find his name tucked away in the art. She begins her quest to find the man behind the wall.

Red: A young vigilante tries to find himself through his years of high school. When he does, he figures out that he is bad....real bad. Having an addiction to chaos can be problematic, especially when his pyromaniac tendencies kick in during chemistry class. Being sent to the principal's office is normal for him, but this will be the last time, since the office mysteriously goes up in flames.

Unknown: On the day of his father's funeral, Derek meets a mysterious man while drinking his sorrows away. With some conversation and hidden context clues, the mysterious man infers that Derek's dad wasn't the honest man everyone thought he was. After questioning some similarities between the two men, Derek goes to his mother to ask of this man's relationship to his family. Through hidden clues, Derek finds proof of a big family secret that will change his life forever.

Kelsey Colombo is a creative writing enthusiast whom is currently attending school at Full Sail University. While attending Full Sail, she has succeeded in developing her own production company which produces all demographics of media. As her specialty consists of writing, she has developed several organizations that included writers’ groups, poetry readings, as well as a senior writing staff for her company, ‘YouGetThePictureProductions.’ Kelsey has also previously attended Florida SouthWestern State College, earning her Associates of the Arts Degree, in 2015. She enjoys bringing people together to work on a broad variety of projects, ranging from short films to music videos. Kelsey currently lives in Orlando, FL with her pet fish, Sheldon.
