I have watched a lot of French movies in order to pick up my memories in Paris.

For a long time, I couldn't get over the vague fragements in my memory.
And the vision that was planted in my brain still remains.

The breeze in Seine River is still contacting my face.
And the fragrance of Croissant is still touching my sense of smell.

The Arabia family I stayed with in Montmartre. The Koran they sang and the Dates they ate had made me feel like in a dream.

This book would show you a real life scene of Chinese immigrants in Paris. The book contains 18 different stories,each character reflected the real situation of chinese immigrants in Paris.

No matter rich or poor, no matter what they have been doing for life,never discriminate against them.
As everyone have the right to live when they came to this world.

Preface

Several years ago, I was in Paris for my study and career.

After returning home, my mind emerges with a variety of people who I have encountered in Paris every day. The experiences and life in Paris have left so much for me that I can’t stop narrating them all.

Chapter A, Amanda

Amanda is as sexy and enchanting as her name. Even in the bizarre circle of foreign models, she is also one of the most striking Asian girls . Amanda is not very tall, but her beautiful face and international style has made her famous in Paris.

Amanda studied design in a private school. But she quit study after six -months- study. The reason is that she quarreled with her mentor in class one day.

The black female teacher blamed for her late and said scornfully,

Every time you are late, is because you go out drinking at night and accompany people to sleep!

All the French girls were laughing, some even whistled.

Amanda went directly to the principal's office. But nobody was willing to deal with that. So she directly ran out and left her words, I’ m going to study in this fucking stupid school and more!

I advised Amanda not to be emotional; it was one of the top design schools in France, after all. She has to get her degree at least; otherwise all her efforts of studying in France were in vain. But she didn’t listen to me and disappeared for a long time.

I was always thinking that rebellious people like Amanda, is not willing to live an ordinary life.

As expected, after six months of Amanda’s disappearance, she updated a photo of her print ads for a local brand in her Facebook. Amanda’s facial features were particularly solid after makeup. Those brands which we talked but unable to afford before, have signed a long-term supply contracts with Amanda for free!

I was only been to see Amanda’s updates on Facebook afterwards. She was either eating dessert of LA DUREE at the Eiffel Tower, or she was swimming in hot springs in Germany. ..Or else, she was participating in a variety of shows, hand in hand with a white man.

People around pass different judgments on Amanda. Some said she was a mistress of rich people. Some said she paid money to produce her ads. Some said she slept with a boss of a certain brand…. But rumors were rumors after all; as recently, I heard that Amanda has set up a new design studio. She made garments from her previous works in school and sold them to the top models she knew.

Faced with the reborn Amanda, I was still embarrassed to contact her. I could only watched far way, her wonderful life every day. Presumably this is the difference between the circles.

However, this maverick woman like Amanda is not the only one by my side.

Chapter B, Brie

Brie is a typical guileless woman from north of China.

Just like a lot of smuggling Chinese women who came to France 20 years ago, Brie has experienced the most difficult period of her life.

After laid off from the factory, Brie and her fellow sisters met a smuggler one day. The smugglers cheated them that he could help them find high salary jobs in France. Thus, Brie and her fellow sisters spent almost all their savings, and boarded on the train the smugglers arranged. Then in Poland, the smugglers disappeared secretly, leaving the penniless Brie and her fellow sisters, dragging their luggage, in the ice and snow of Warsaw streets. They could not speak English, thus nobody could help them. Just like headless flies, Brie and her friend scurried in the streets.

It was until one day, one of the poor women, took a brace to wear her short skirts and stockings, and stood in the street at night. Soon, there came a car and stopped. Facing with the jabber of foreigner, the woman extended her hand which was frozen stiff, got into his car and disappeared. Since then, Brie had no news of her.

In this way, Brie and her other friends imitated her, stood in front of metro station
