There came a time during the writing of contemporary children's books, that Fey Christian Dragoon (who is really children's book author Cristina Salat) turned a reflective eye upon the world of fairy tales and myth which lie beneath our unconscious understandings of Reality...and did not necessarily feel that all she found in terms of species & gender relations (nevermind magic!) was...just right. So she set out to wish some different tales into existence!
