    Introduction

    Why Write This?

    One of the basic truisms of life is that the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor. Those who have power keep it to themselves. They don't want to share it.

    Go back through your history texts and you'll find examples everywhere. The feudal era of Europe saw the nobles cling to their inherited powers and lands ... until the merchant class became strong enough to take some power for themselves through their wealth.

    And that's just one example. You can find others throughout any era and location, from ancient Egypt and Babylon to modern Wall Street. Those with power and influence hoard it like dragons on a pile of treasure, breathing fire at anyone who dares try to do the same.

    But here I am, writing a little book about power, and money, and how you can get your share.

    If what I write about in this book works – and it does – why should I share these secrets with a bunch of strangers? Why not keep them to myself?

    A bunch of reasons, really, and covering them all would easily double the length of this book. So let me give you two.

    One — To Give Back

    I didn't make any of this stuff up. Well, I did, in the sense that I have found a new, simpler way to explain concepts and ideas that have been around and in use for hundreds, perhaps thousands of years.

    What I have done is synthesize the ideas and practices I have culled through decades of my own work, research, and experimentation. But the success that I have had, and the heights I have
