Hi! Thank you so much for checking me out! The story behind my writing is my own children. I am the very lucky mom of four awesome kiddos. Being around children is an outrageously inspiring experience! You learn all sorts of things, some of which you might wish you didn't! All of my stories come from oral stories that I have told my children over the years. All children just love to "hear a story" especially when someone they love is creating it! I have found storytelling to be such a great way to not only entertain and engage my kids, but to reinforce important values. Fortunately, I took the time to actually write a few of these stories down over the years. Petrifying Pete is one of those stories. This story was originally told on a bitter, windy, October day huddled in the treehouse together. I was shooting for exciting and thrilling, but not too scary for my littlest one. It was a hit! I hope your family enjoys it too. If most bios include some sort of explanation of qualifications, then I should include that too! I have been a lover of books and writing since I was old enough to hold one in my hands. My children and I have single handedly read every book in all the children's libraries within driving distance! I have told over ten zillion stories in the past 12 years, or so it seems! Any spare moment I come across, I love to write and share ideas. I am completely dedicated to inspiring children and adults to love good stories that share wonderful life lessons. Ta-da!
