You Want More? - Dave Roseman

    It!

    INTRODUCTION

    YOU WANT MORE?

    HERE’S HOW TO GET IT!

*Want More? Money, Opportunity, Respect, Everyday Success. Lots of what’s out there.

    *Want to get it quickly?

*With a few easy steps--used successfully, many thousands of times in most every situation.

    *Including CIA techniques.

Simply the Best ‘How To Do It’ Way

    What are You facing?

Probably a pretty challenging environment out there. And it’s not just the traffic. OK, so they tell us things have gotten a little better….maybe so, at least for some. But no question, it’s gotten tougher to get what you want today. Like some more money. Or more success with situations most of us encounter today--and having it quickly and without the stress.

[Author’s Note and Disclaimer. To those who’ve received a special corporate tax break after giving, let’s be generous and call them ‘campaign contributions’ to a Congressional committee chairman: You must be all set. No need to read on.]

Ever take your car to an auto service center for an early morning appointment before going to work? Get there--to wait, … and wait, now sitting sort of squished next to a bunch of strangers, and their partially muffled coughs (oh this is pleasant) and, of course, the outdated magazines to take your mind off it all--topped off by a repair estimate that makes you wonder if the camshaft will be fashioned by Giorgio Armani or Gucci himself, working in the ‘Employees Only’ area in stylish, yet comfortable, designer overalls. Plus, what is a camshaft anyway? So maybe there goes dinner out this week with the family at Red Lobster or that new pair of shoes from Macy’s.

How about just keeping up with the Joneses.

Hello, Jimmy and Jenny Jones. You force a smile. Nice new convertible you’re driving. Didn’t you also get an SUV last fall? Your brain, along with your sudden indigestion, churns out the following message: ‘Why not me? Why not for my family?’

And you may find yourself saying, "Something’s not right. I deserve more." And you are right. And that is why this book was written. By the expert. To give you those easy steps you need to have more of what you want, or to resolve disputes in your favor--fast, and to reach your goals. Immediate goals, ones for tomorrow, and much longer term goals, too. But now you wake up, turn on the local news to hear the smiley face weather person (less than three inches of snow will fall today--unfortunately, on your driveway), cup of coffee to get you started, perhaps check your text messages or emails--and then it really starts. A credit card dispute with a large company whose friendly advertising spokesperson seems to have mutated into someone as understanding and warmhearted as Vlad the Impaler was; that unfair teacher; a landlord who has a ready excuse--possibly learned from some on-line landlord training manual--for whatever you tell him needs fixing now.

And let’s not forget the more difficult challenges in life that can make your nerves go as viral as….well, let’s just say as viral as another picture on Facebook of that former big city, very appropriately named congressman with his pants down yet again. (Put them back on. Right now.)

And here’s the solution--and your results.

Using what you read in this concisely written book:

*You will get more of what you want.

*You’ll see how to easily have more success and the results you desire.

*You’ll also avoid the common mistakes people make when trying to resolve disagreements.

*And for busy mothers and others, you will save time.

Nothing complicated here. It’s just the smart (and quick) way to get the best--for yourself and for those who matter most to you.

Perhaps you are wondering--what are the unique successes of this Expert/Author.

Maybe you hadn’t heard because he spent most of his adult life as a senior official in the CIA, which does not publicize in any way its officers involved in some of the most sensitive covert operations, risking safety and life and national security. (Plus, if anyone talked about it--it would have been as if they rolled the dice and landed on Monopoly’s ‘Go to Jail’ space. Not a good move.) For two decades, the author was one of the most senior officials in the Central Intelligence Agency’s extremely secretive Directorate of Operations, also known as the Clandestine Service (forget the official names--it’s where the spies are located), working at CIA locations in the United States and traveling worldwide on secret missions. The Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, South America. More than 125 countries. His three key responsibilities: Solve problems. Use his extraordinary negotiating skills, when necessary. And carry out actions quickly and quietly, so the individuals or organizations or governments involved could easily get more of what they wanted, or reach whatever goals they needed to achieve. All sorts of situations and issues, or problems and disputes, from the most complex to minor, international to domestic, and all sorts of people and personalities. That’s why the author’s services and skills were requested--repeatedly--by Presidents of countries, senior U.S. officials, heads of powerful foreign intelligence and security services, Nobel Peace Prize winner, King and other royalty, generals, and many others.

When DR retired from the Agency, he received the CIA’s highest career award which said his responsibilities were unique and his work absolutely essential to the success of operations around the world; the official written commendation called him "CIA’s Secret Weapon." Now, you can pick up those secret weapons he used for your own advantage.

In addition, using the methods he developed for his work at the Central Intelligence Agency, here are just a few examples of success when handling personal matters here in America (many more of both personal and CIA examples throughout this book): received ten thousand dollars from a Goliath-like corporation for its seven dollar billing error; a new car purchased for 35% less than the sticker price, simply using the basic steps you’ll be seeing; a well-known department store gave him, at no charge, a set of high end merchandise valued at close to $1,000, to help resolve a minor problem about incorrectly sent items. This took one short phone call, all of the correct items, purchased for slightly more than $1,000, were also delivered--and the $1,000s are not typos. But it’s not all about money or merchandise. It’s also about people, and helping family and close friends and those in need. Based on his one action, a large assisted living facility, part of the 2nd largest nationwide chain, was required to change and improve its care giving procedures for all its elderly residents. And he obtained a substantial six figure settlement for a frail individual who was unable to handle a dispute herself.

All of these are shown in this ‘how-to’ handbook, so you, too, can have these results. The same types of results he’s gotten working with thousands of different people here and abroad.

    Though there are times…

Before beginning Chapter One, the author wanted to add one other note to the Intro. Here’s what he has to say:

Sometimes it’s impossible to get what you want. Not often, but sometimes.

For example, try to avoid a mother’s lecturing. For mine, it’s like a micro-chip or something else incomprehensible was orbiting her brain, with Wi-Fi to the tongue. And it was especially embarrassing because I was an adult and it could begin again while I was in an elevator in her New York City high rise, with her younger (and quite attractive) neighbors, who glanced at each other--clearly signaling that I should not get my hopes or anything else up for a Starbucks grande or venti with either or both of them--as I was being told to wear a hat because it’s getting cold outside, son. Not the James Bond image I wanted to present. But the worst, anyway, was driving. Especially when my mother and her sister were together in my car, we’re on the New York Thruway, and there was no possible E & E, or what is known in the espionage business as Escape and Evasion. ‘Actually, I’m going less than the speed limit, mom.’ ‘Don’t lie to your mother. I want to know what’s causing this behavior. Is your wife having hanky-panky? I’ve got a friend who knows a good psychiatrist for both of you.’ And it was even worse when the two of them would then start talking as if I were no longer in the vehicle, and my black Jeep was being driven by the Invisible Man.

Roselle, and Aunt Pat in the back seat--now inhaling smelling salts. ‘Roselle, you didn’t tell me your son is now a race car driver...’ ‘Hello, Aunt Pat, I’m still here.’ ‘...I’m getting palpitations, Roselle, and I’m hearing voices.’ ‘Pat, I don’t even know who he is anymore. I only know I had to live with this when he was growing up.’ ‘Mom, I didn’t drive when I was six years old.’ (My comment, attempting to end the suffering, was ignored.) ‘I’ve had enough of this. I’m calling a taxi to take me home, right now.’ Didn’t matter who made the last comment: neither of them had a cell phone, plus I was already partially brain dead.

It’s possible, that with some CIA training, these two older women could have been used to target adversaries to make them deranged, or at least want to jump out of a speeding automobile.
