PJ MacDowell
As a writer of tasteful, short, erotic-historical stories - I'm unable to avoid the lure of forbidden love, so I delve deliciously into a myriad of sensual indiscretions and turbulent relationships during the illustrious 17th century. While thousands already know PJ MacDowell as a celebrated, award-winning filmmaker, few know that her eye for creativity and originality also ventures into the heart-pounding world of Erotica. If her debut erotic novel is anything to go by, MacDowell is about to redefine the genre away from its clichéd stereotypes and force it into a new realm of raw, cinematic kink. 'Lust of Innocence' isn't one of "those" typical erotic stories involving a woman and her billionaire boss. MacDowell, who wrote, produced, and directed an award-winning feature film, which won a prestigious award at the MWFF says; "I love the idea of turbulent relationships that take place behind closed doors, often the result of oppressive societal norms from previous centuries. It was wild in the 1700s to think that a woman and a maid would hook up, find a strange kind of love and exploit it sexually - yet it happened all of the time. I suppose I'm one of the few writers brave enough to depict it. It's certainly unlike anything else on the market."

LUST OF INNOCENCE
Chapter I
It’s a crisp, cool morning. The radiant sun reflects through dew-filled leaves, which glitter into the quiet forest. A young woman of no more than eighteen wearing a weathered mustard hunting coat with beige breeches sits atop a dark bay mare. Elizabeth’s long, thick blond hair is braided and lays against her shapely bosom. Her striking face is filled with excitement and her high cheekbones are flushed. From a distance, the silence is broken by a horn, followed by the excited howls of dogs. Elizabeth whistles shrilly, and both rider and beast leap out of the clearing into the dense forest.
Elizabeth feels like she’s one with the horse; the trees a blur as she gallops past them. From the corner of her eye she can see the other riders in pursuit. This time, she’ll beat her brother. Her indigo blue eyes are bright and almost purple with determination as she gallops closer to the sounds of the hounds.
Breathless, Elizabeth gives chase through the dense woods until, suddenly, a branch swings back and unseats her. She sails through the air, landing with a thud on the hard ground. Elizabeth sucks in her breath in pain and rubs her bruised posterior.
The rumble of hooves makes her look up into her brother’s sneering face, and her own face changes from pain to anger, You did that on purpose, Jason!
Jason laughs cruelly, What’s the matter little sister? Can’t stay atop your steed?
Elizabeth studies her older brother’s handsome face; he had always held a grudge against her. Ever since they were children, Jason resented her. Although Elizabeth wants to knock her brother from his horse, she takes a deep breath and keeps her voice neutral, Why do you hate me so much?
Jason pulls on the reins and turns his horse around, "I don’t hate you. I deplore what you stand for: Ladies do not ride astride or run about barefoot.... His eyes flick over her disheveled person in disgust....
Be useful as a woman should be," he adds, and with a flick of his wrist, both horse and rider lunge forward, kicking dirt on Elizabeth.
Ohhhh!
Elizabeth angrily spits the dirt out of her mouth and gets up. As she brushes the debris off her riding habit, her stormy blue eyes narrow at the retreating, galloping figure of her brother. Squaring her small shoulders with determination and pursing her lips together, she whistles shrilly. Her mare trots through an opening in the woods looking forlorn as it approaches her. Elizabeth smiles reassuringly and pets the mare’s strong flanks, It’s okay, Ruffian. It was not your fault.
The horse appears to understand the certainty in Elizabeth’s soothing voice and raises its head proudly. Atta girl.
Effortlessly mounting Ruffian’s back, Elizabeth grabs
