About this ebook

When Andrea graduated college without any prospect of a job to start the career she dreamed of, she was worried about paying her bills despite her overprotective brothers offering to help. Mike in the meantime really needs an assistant, and when he sees Andrea at her graduation followed by her resume ending up on his desk for an internship position, he feels that it is meant to be.

Mike is a self-made billionaire and CEO of a large corporation, with the means to truly take care of Andrea. When she gets offered an interview, and gets the job almost on the spot, will she accept his generosity or will she turn it down? Can she ignore the fact that her new boss is making it hard for her to focus by being a beautiful man, or will she remain loyal to her boyfriend?

    Chapter 1

You would never be able to tell now, but there had been a time when Mike hadn’t been in control of everything and had actually been a quite insecure teenager. After a late night party he had gotten himself grounded for a month, and that month had changed everything. Bored out of his mind he had decided that he was going to rule the world and had started planning. Now, in his early thirties, he was doing exactly that and he had never looked back to the time he had felt insecure and uncertain.

He was now involved in quite a few different ventures but the biggest one was real estate, a business that was always bringing in money. He had made his first million by the time he had graduated high school and was now a multi-billionaire. Having money had always been more of a hindrance than a blessing to him though, and after paying off all his parents’ debts, getting them settled comfortably so they never had to work another day in his life, he had quickly gotten bored with being wealthy. The millions kept building and it was nice not to have to worry about money, but he still didn’t have real friends and everyone wanted something from him. It was lonely, and he realized that the saying money can’t buy happiness had more truth to it than anyone realized.

At the present moment he was sitting in yet another meeting about some business deal where they would acquire a communications company from Phoenix.
