A full Harvest Moon hung over the dark street and there was a cold wind blustering in from the north as I plodded along. The spooky, quiet street was eerily empty for a Halloween night. Pulling the collar of my jacket up around my neck tighter, I decided to call it a night. Then I spotted a house with the porch light on. It was the Higgins’s house, two doors down from my house. That was odd. It was just a little after ten and the Higgins’s lights were usually off by this time at night.
