    Having the God-given right to roam and live free is the creed by which mountain men Henry and Lucas McCarty live. In the 1820s, however, America's free-roaming western frontier slithers with vile brutality and devilish conditions. When the brothers encounter a severely beaten Indian maiden, matters become personal, especially for Lucas. After finding out a band of cutthroat Indians are wreaking havoc across the frontier, the brothers must stop the renegades and try to prevent what could become a bloody massacre of an unwary Shoshone village. Bonus: Excerpt from the short story Grizzly Rendezvous.
