About this ebook
‘Drugs and alcohol have never let me down. They have always loved me. There are substances I can put into my bloodstream that make the world perfect. That is the only absolute truth in the universe. I’m being difficult because you want to take it away from me.'
Emma was having the time of her life. Now she’s in rehab.
Her first step is to admit that she has a problem. But the problem isn’t with Emma, it’s with everything else. She needs to tell the truth. But she’s smart enough to know that there’s no such thing.
When intoxication feels like the only way to survive the modern world, how can she ever sober up?

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5An incredibly gripping piece of work... sat down and read the whole thing in one go! Couldn't take my eyes off the page. As addicting as the character's addiction itself. One of my favourite plays I've read, and the best female lead I've read. Though I'm partial to Duncan MacMillan, I think this play is particularly spectacular and a must read!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This play is one of the most powerful British play I have read in a very long time. The despair and truthfulness of the characters are brilliantly expressed. Addiction, beautifully and honestly portrayed
