    “I don’t know what the chance of that are,” Shane admitted. “But I’d like to figure it out.”

    She grinned at him. “I bet you would, big boy,” she teased.

    For just a moment he seemed taken aback at her forwardness. If it was possible, he blushed deeper red. “I didn’t mean it that way. I mean I’d actually like to calculate something like that. I’m an actuary. I work with numbers all day. It’s a nerd thing. I like playing with numbers.”

    Winnie found herself teasing him some more. “Is that your kink? Playing with your numbers?”

    The tease was so ridiculous Shane found himself honestly laughing at her. “No. Unfortunately it’s not because if it were, I suppose going to work every day would be like attending an orgy and getting paid for it.”

    “How about an orgy then?” Winnie found herself suggesting.

    For a moment Shane wasn’t sure if she was actually making a proposition to him, was teasing him, or was just thinking out loud. He never decided on one or the other. “I think I’ll stick with my current request,” he said thoughtfully. “I’d probably be too nervous around that many people to, uh, perform.”

    Winnie sipped at her drink. “We should go to your place and you can put on a dress rehearsal for me.”
