About this ebook
As Emily arrived at his home in Colorado and became his ward she had been full of curiosity and eagerness to show her appreciation for Martin’s generosity. They had eaten at both of the small restaurants in town several times and at his parent’s home a few times as well. She got up one morning a said she wanted to cook their supper that day for both he and his parents. Only he didn’t know she had been eying Mr. Jones’s prize pet guinea pig as the main meat entree’. Martin had been in his study for most of the day stopping in the kitchen to check on her from time to time to see if she needed his help. Martin had related the story about the meal Emily had cooked for him at the hotel in her country the month before. His parent’s had arrived right on time with a bottle of wine to go with the meal and were eager to try out Emily’s cooking. Throughout the day as he was writing the aroma of Emily’s dishes had his mouth watering and he looked forward to Emily’s fine dishes that evening. Emily’s meal was a home run for him and his parents, not only had they been impressed with Emily’s cooking skills despite her history. They had fallen in love with the girl and consequently dad began picking her up from school and took her home to spend time with them. She didn’t know any better when she’d cooked that meal but she had stirred up trouble for him with his neighbors; most especially with Mr. Jones. A few days after that meal that Emily cooked, Martin had gone to ask the butcher in town if he could purchase some more of that wild game for it had been so tender and tasty. The butcher had answered you must be thinking of wild rabbit? No I’m certain it wasn’t Martin had replied he’d eaten wild rabbit and this meat dish had, had a sweet taste to it. Perhaps it was a spice that Emily had put on it when she cooked it then Mr. Salazar the Butcher had replied. As he came home from the butcher’s shop Martin had ran into Mr. Jones his next door neighbor and Mr. Jones was frantic as his prized pet guinea pig had ran away or had been stolen. Mr. Salazar hadn’t sold Emily and meat that day and to his knowledge he had been out of everything except bacon. The day of the meal Martin hadn’t thought of asking Emily what kind of meat she had served him only that it had been delicious and as tender as it could be. Oh no Martin had thought she couldn’t have? Martin hurried into the house to call his parent’s house. His dad answered the phone; dad is Emily there? Yes son she’s at the table doing her home work, is anything the matter? No dad but could you put Emily on the phone? A few seconds later he heard Emily answering hello, this is Emily. Martin spoke how is the home work going? Fine Martin; your dad sure knows his math. My dad’s a successful contractor and wouldn’t be if he didn’t know math well.

Lgoo Books is well known by family and friends for his love of aircraft and knowledge of things mechanical but many even family had no idea that he's been a published Author for over 9 years and has written over 18 works of fiction and other works. When did he become interested in writing? As a boy really, he walked as much as two miles to get to libraries to read books checking out as many as six at a time or the limit. Compassion was learned at an early age and practiced throughout life. At fourteen a first flight lesson; the cost just $5. His passion since early in life was someday becoming a pilot in the military or civilian it hadn't mattered he just had a desire to experience flight. It was not until he was in his early fifties that time and money that endeavor became a reality. One day he was sitting at the computer writing and recovering from an injury and pondering early retirement from skilled trades but what to do until age 65? A little research online lead to the local college, signing up for ground school, not long after he was in a cockpit of a Cessna Sky-hawk a 4 seater. These days writing keeps him up at night, he's enjoyed some success tinkering with and repairing computers for pleasure, keeping my website up and running. Hobby beekeeping and delving into various schemes with his new wife. A couple of years ago he even took on a part time job as an Instructor of residential hvac at a local adult education facility. The first few books were devoted to giving back to help homeowners and others with fixing their own furnaces or air conditioning.A main character in that first book of fiction soon stretched into four books. The first book Lasting Effects of an Indiscretion is partly a true story. Each book were written to complement the previous book with new characters as well as some of the same ones as in previous books. Some stories are fantasy, two are short children stories the latest called Ghosts of Red Cavern is science fiction and may appeal to ten to twenty year olds. Four are devoted to skilled trades self help books for people who enjoy working with their hands and have some skills in the trades. Lgoo has always had a sense about right and wrong and so one true story had to be written. (Charisma) That story took place before the birth of his writing career many years almost thirty years ago. Its titled Charisma and it is about a close friend and coworker and a murder committed by him.Thank you for reading e-books from Lgoo Books hope you enjoy future stories. Just Emily
A single twenty seven year old Author; Martin C JR. lives in the city just as his father Martin SR. had when he left his fathers business. He’s had some success but isn’t yet as famous as Martin Cole senior. For now he is content to live alone. Like his grand dad said he was groomed to take over the family business. He’d been told his mother Emily and his dad’s story and asked them would it be alright with them if he writes their story and publishes it.
His parents had told him a very colorful story on how their marriage had come about as they had quite an unconventional courtship. They met when his mother was just a child and his father was on tour in the Philippines. It wasn’t a love story exactly as love stories go. His dad hadn’t been in the market for a wife at all or a child. His mother a street beggar in a third world country asked his father for some coins. What followed could be called anything but love at first sight.
His dad hadn’t carried currency in a long time but he did carry compassion with him always and he was in the right place at the right time. Martin really didn’t even like kids well enough to have one of his own but the child’s plea hit a cord inside him and the rest, well the rest is history. There were more orphans in the country than the country could support and most were beggars and some pick pockets. At the time they met the countries leaders were happy to get rid of at least one.
Finishing his book tour was the first order of business but during his down time. He worked with a solicitor to obtain documents to take this one beggar off the streets. Martin was home two weeks later with Emily in tow; everything she saw was a reason for conversation and wonderment. The jet airplane
