About this ebook

SuperNaturally is an anthology of scary stories perfect for pre-sleep reading, best done in a creaky house with a spooky wind blowing. “Ascot Ramble” involves a unique relationship between a boy and his neckwear. In “Banjo Music,” you’ll experience an eerie vibration. Undergo a psychological cleansing with “Catharsis.” In “Singularity,” a vengeful entity comes calling at the beach house.

It took a split second for his sanity to snap and the Dali-esque hallucinations to start and another split second for him to come back to the real world. An utterly changed world inside and outside.

Steven’s mother lay on the floor, the victim of a rapist who was now dissipating into the night. He had become an orphan at sixteen. The trip into surrealism tempered his reality. The death of his mother made the trip even better. Steven dressed. He buried Mother in the crawl space of her old house. She and her cat were now together, along with his older brother, who died the month before of some illness. Something Dick ate. Mother had wondered what happened to Dick.

    Mother's Social Security checks continued.

A year later, Steven Baker stood in the men's department at JC Brook. The plain, blue silk ascot hanging in front of him demanded his attention. He reached out and fondled the cloth, caressed it lovingly, the sensuality of doing so almost sexual. The cool silk fabric--soft, supple, and smooth--caressed his fingers. The
