    Introduction

    Swimming with my two boys (age 2 and 4 as of June 2015) has been one of the many great joys of having children.  It has been so amazing to watch them learn and adapt to the challenges of swimming in swimming pools and the ocean.  I was amazed how quickly my first son was able to swim using a more undeveloped swim method and it stunned me how fast my second son learned to swim after I was able to perfect this method.  As much as I believe in this swim method, it really has to start with the parent.  There is no substitute for time in the water with your kids and if you want them to become little human fish you must become one yourself.  

    We tried all kinds of swimming lessons with my first son before it was obvious that nothing beats a parent teacher.  If you cannot swim or do not like to swim, maybe it is time you start!  My wife learned to swim as an adult.  When she started, she could barely swim across a pool and now she can complete two mile masters swim team workouts.  How did she do this?  I think swimming is a natural thing that we are just supposed to do as humans.
