Autobiography of Gnani Purush Dadashri: Gnani Purush Dadashri
()
About this ebook
Generations to come will wonder that such a one as this, ever walked the face of this earth. His energy of his words defy any description. They simply connect to the deepest core of the listener, the reader—the Soul within. Here is His autobiography in his own words. His name was Ambalal Muljibhai Patel. He became a Gnani Purush in 1958. His fame continues to grow the day in the spiritual world as Gnani Purush Dadashri. He never wrote any word. His words in satsang, question answer sessions have been compiled and edited for presentation to the world by Atmagnani Dr. Niruben Amin, who was with him from 1968 to 1988, when he left his mortal body.
An enlightened one to have an autobiography, is rather odd, because He is beyond time, and beyond any relative limitations. Autobiography is an inadequate word to encompass the history of that which is subtle and beyond the grasp of standard human intellect, and which extends beyond one life.
A well-dressed gentleman with a black topi hat was sitting on a bench on platform number three of Surat railway station in Gujarat, India. It was around six in the evening in June 1958, and the platform was bustling with humanity and trains on other lines. He had just finished supper before sunset and was waiting for another train to take him to Vadodara. His name was Ambalal Muljibhai Patel. His assistant stepped away to clean the tiffin. This is when nature unfolded a phenomenal spiritual world within the gentleman. After the end of this spontaneous enlightenment, which took about forty-eight minutes, the gentleman came to be known to the world as Gnani Purush Dadashri. Dada Bhagwan the absolute Self, manifest within him.
The creation of and existence of a natural miracle within Ambalal Patel is a phenomenal event. Even more miraculous and phenomenal is the wonder; that what happened within him, the vision with which he saw, knew and experienced, is the vision that was associated with the power and energy within that enabled him to transfer and give the same to all seekers who came to him! And the miracle of all miracles is that this process has now continued through the medium of those whom he graced and gave special blessing to continue the unfolding of the process of Akram Vignan within future recipients after his leaving his mortal body in January 1988. To attain total liberation and leave this world quietly may be many, but to liberate hundreds of thousands of other human beings along with one’s own liberation are only called Tirthankaras or one exclusive Gnani amongst innumerable Gnanis. This amazing human being who opened up the new extraordinary path of liberation within the current difficult age of Kaliyug, of instant Self-realization with ease, deserves nothing less than a title of the Super Gnani, the Gnani of all Gnanis. This path of instant moksha has come to be known to the world as Akram Vignan. ‘Akram’ means the path of full stop of the ego, and ‘Kramik or Kram’ means the path of ‘comma’ of the ego. The ego has yet to be dissolved. Akram means no method. Kram means to rise higher spiritually step by step. Akram means to enter and rise higher in an elevator or a lift, and attain the goal immediately. Kram is the main traditional eternal path. Akram is the new shortcut path and will be available for a limited period in the cycle of time.

Word from the Translator:
Please note that Gnani Purush Dadashri never wrote a word for any book. This book is a compilation of his spoken words in satsang, and Shuddha Anami is a translator within a collective, of the words spoken in Gujarati. Shuddha has been sharing the English translations of the words of Gnani Purush Dadashri on the Internet since 1994.
Gnani or Jnani is the One who has known, is in the experience of, the eternal Self. Purush means the Self. Akram Vignan means that which is attained without doing anything, and the science behind this. A gentleman by the name of Ambalal M. Patel became a Gnani Purush in June 1958. This happened spontaneously within him. The absolute light of the Self prevailed in him from that time. In that state of the absolute Self, he became the instrument for the salvation of the world. The words that came out through his medium; have become words that are now liberating hundreds of thousands of human beings who were seeking meaningful solutions for their pains. These satsang sessions of the Gnani Purush happened in Gujarati and were carefully preserved and are presented as they are, in many different languages. They are all in the form of questions and answers from Gnani Purush Dadashri.
