Luring Lisa
by Lynn LaFleur
Fantasies can come true, if two people truly believe.
Lisa Cline never planned to have sex with a stranger in an airport, but that’s what happens when she meets sexy Scottish businessman, Kade Wallace.
Kade can’t forget the interlude with Lisa and longs for more time with her. On business for his family’s whiskey distillery, Kade switches schedules with his brother so he can pay a surprise visit to Lisa in Texas.
He gets the bigger surprise when she tells him she and her brother own Anything Goes, a sex club on the outskirts of Dallas, where a person can engage in any type of sex imaginable.
Intrigued at the thought of the club, Kade admits to Lisa that he’s fantasized about watching two women have sex. Lisa makes Kade’s fantasy come true. Now if only he will make hers come true...the fantasy of happily every after with him.
Chapter One
2:17 a.m. A ridiculous time for her to be awake and drinking wine when she had a flight in less than four hours.
Lisa Cline stared out the window of her hotel room at the magnificent view of downtown San Francisco. Clouds now covered the stars and the sliver of moon she’d seen before sunset. Her brother told her on the phone today that yesterday’s high in Fort Worth had been eighty-seven. A far cry from the low sixties she’d experienced since she’d arrived in the City by the Bay.
After eight days in the beautiful, cool locale, Lisa could hardly wait to get back home. Not that she hadn’t loved her vacation. She’d always wanted to visit San Francisco, and had taken advantage of a couple of the tourist tours, including riding one of the famous trolley cars. She’d walked the steep sidewalks, shopped in the trendy stores, drank gourmet coffee with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge out the coffeehouse window. She’d even played darts with some of the locals in an English-type pub.
She’d hoped to play another way with one or two of the men while on vacation, but that hadn’t happened. She’d had offers over darts and drinks—several of them—but she’d turned them all down. None of them had appealed to her enough to spend time with them away from the pub.
Lisa took another sip of her wine. It had been a long time since a man had appealed to her. So many handsome men came into Anything Goes, the sex club she and her twin brother, Alex, owned. She’d indulged often with members and the attendants at her club. Anytime she wanted sex, she could have it from a number of willing men, and an occasional woman.
Even endless sex got old when it consisted of only two bodies and no feeling.
Lisa had always enjoyed sex. That hadn’t changed. She loved touching a man’s body, feeling his skin sliding against hers. She loved that fullness when he slid his cock into her pussy. But lately, even though she usually experienced an orgasm, she couldn’t say sex satisfied her. There seemed to be something missing.
She thought of her brother and his wife, Catania. They’d celebrated their first anniversary on New Year’s Eve three months ago. Cat had put up with a cheating husband for years before she finally dumped him, much to her brother’s delight. He’d loved Cat for years.
They couldn’t stop touching each other when together, even if only to hold hands. Lisa had never experienced that closeness, that kind of love.
She wondered how it would be if a man loved her that much.
Shaking her head to clear it of her silly thoughts, she glanced at the digital clock on the nightstand. 2:28. She had to be at the airport a couple of hours before her six o’clock flight. Lying down would be stupid, since Lisa knew she wouldn’t sleep. She decided to leave for the airport now. She could find an open bar or coffee shop and read while waiting for her flight.
After calling downstairs for someone to help with her luggage, Lisa went through the room again to be sure she hadn’t forgotten anything. She rode down in the elevator with the chatty bellman, who must have figured he had a captive audience for he bragged about his new grandson. Lisa didn’t mind. She’d rather have someone chatty than one who remained silent and frowned.
Lisa tipped him generously after he placed her luggage in the taxi’s trunk. He gave her a two-finger salute and wished her a good day.
It would be a good day, as soon as she got home.
So early in the morning, Lisa made it through security in only a few minutes. As she picked up her shoes, purse, and tote from the belt, she asked the TSA agent about a place to get a cup of coffee.
There’s a café near gate eighty-two that opens at four.
A quick glance at her watch showed Lisa she had about twenty minutes to kill before the café opened. Just enough time to window shop. Thank you.
Lisa slipped on her flats, hooked the straps of her purse and tote over her shoulder, and began a slow stroll toward gate eighty-two. Her plane left from a gate not far from there, so the café wouldn’t be out of her way.
She stopped at a bookstore. It wasn’t open, but she could still look through the metal bars to see the vast array of books and magazines. She smiled when she recognized the title of Everett Payne’s latest book. An attendant at Anything Goes, Everett had self-published two books before catching the eye of a New York publisher. He’d received a handsome advance and contract for three books to be released over the next fifteen months.
Lisa thought he’d quit working at Anything Goes, especially since along with the publishing contract, he’d become seriously involved with Drew Severson. Everett told her and Alex he liked his job and wanted to continue it, but would no longer have sex with any of the members or guests. He would never cheat on Drew. Lisa and Alex couldn’t say no to that since the attendants always had the right to refuse anyone’s advances. Plus, Everett was an outstanding attendant. Both she and Alex would hate to lose him.
See somethin’ worth readin’?
a masculine voice asked from her left side.
So involved with her thoughts about Everett, Lisa hadn’t noticed the man’s approach. She turned her head and looked up into a pair of striking blue eyes. Black hair with a hint of wave flowed over his forehead and ears and covered his shirt collar. He carried a jacket over his arm, which let her admire his broad shoulders and wide chest in his plum, button-down shirt.
She caught herself before she let her gaze drop any lower.
Realizing she hadn’t answered his question since she’d been ogling him, Lisa quickly said, "Yes. Black Velvet by E. P. Payne. It’s an excellent mystery."
"Isn’t he the author who wrote Black Illusion?"
Lisa nodded. You’ve read it?
Aye. I enjoyed it very much.
She thought she detected a hint of an accent...maybe Irish, or Scottish. He rolled his R’s
and dropped the g
when he spoke. "Then you should definitely read Black Velvet."
I will.
He glanced at the sign that posted the store’s hours. Too bad the store doesn’t open until eight.
You could download it to your e-reader.
A hint of a smile turned up his lips and he shrugged one shoulder. I don’t have one. I’m old-fashioned. I like print books.
Lisa returned his smile. Nothing wrong with being old-fashioned. I love the convenience of being able to download a book whenever I want.
He looked at the book display, then back at Lisa. "’Twould be nice to have it to read on the plane. I have two books in my carryon, but I did enjoy Black Illusion and would like to read Payne’s newest."
Do you own a smartphone? E-reader programs are free. You could download the ebook and you’d have it to read on the plane.
His smile widened, exposing white teeth that were the tiniest bit crooked. No braces for this guy to torture him in his youth. Lucky him. She’d barely spoken for the two years she’d had to endure wearing braces as a teenager.
Would you be willin’ to help me with that? I’ll buy you a cup of coffee or tea as thanks.
Spending time with a handsome man before her flight seemed like a wonderful idea. I’d be happy to.
Great. Think there’s a place open yet?
One of the TSA agents told me a café at gate eighty-two opens at four. It should be close to that by the time we get there.
He fell into step beside her. They’d walked a few paces before he spoke again. By the way, I’m Kade Wallace.
Lisa Cline.
’Tis nice to meet you, Lisa.
She smiled to herself at the charming lilt to his voice. It wouldn’t be hard at all for her to listen to him while they shared coffee.
The metal gate rose as they approached the café. Perfect timin’,
Kade said.
Two men entered the café before they did. The large Order Here
sign must mean they had to place their order before they found a table. Lisa stood back and studied the huge menu on the wall above the counter. She hadn’t thought about food, only coffee, but looking at the array of breakfast items made her stomach grumble.
Kade looked at her and grinned. Hungry?
I didn’t think I was, but...
She shrugged. I could eat something.
Name it. ’Twill be my treat.
She didn’t mind him buying her coffee, but didn’t think it right for him to pay for her breakfast. You don’t have to do that.
I want to.
Looking into those amazing blue eyes, she didn’t see how any woman could ever say no to him. All right. Thank you.
What would you like?
Lisa perused the menu board again. One of those ham croissant sandwiches and a large latte.
Why don’t you pick out a table for us while I order?
She chose a table for two by the windows. People fascinated Lisa, so she took every opportunity to simply sit and watch them. North Texas Highland Hospital, where she worked, had several sitting areas on the grounds, which made perfect places to enjoy the outdoors on her break or lunch and watch people at the same time.
She shifted her attention to Kade standing at the counter. She watched him giving
