About this ebook
Never underestimate the power of a volatile witch.
Still reeling in the wake of her mother's death, sixteen-year-old Bianca Monroe is forced to move to Chatham Castle. Not even the sudden appearance of ancient dragons in haunted Letum Wood nor her two best friends can distract her from the strength of her deep, dark rage.
Her grief puts her magical powers into chaos, endangering any witch around her. She has six months left to destroy the curse that will kill her and fulfill her contract with the most cunning enemy of all: her former teacher Miss Mabel.
Bianca must make a choice: learn to control her restless powers, or let the powers control her.
Antebellum Awakening is the second book in the thrilling new fantasy collection The Network Series. It's a haunting tale about tragedy, loss, and the power of moving on.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved the characters, the setting, adventurous --both inner and outer--and have now in 3 days indulged in serial mania with books 1-4. Great fun. Inventive.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This series is fantastic. This one had a touch more romance to it, but like Mildred's Resistance there's no focus on the romance - it's more of a background element. Bianca is such a great character and the girls in this all have such a strong friendship. Actually Mildred's Resistance had that too - even though it ended badly. It's kind of rare to read anything with such positive female role models and who have such positive female friendships. Isadora and Sanna are awesome - and I'm really excited about the spinoff series - who doesn't love dragons? My thoughts are kind of all over the place - I just adore this series. I'm dying to read the next one but it's already really really late and I feel like I should probably go to bed. But I don't want to.
