Jamallah Bergman
Writer Jamallah Bergman was born in Jamaica Queens, New York. Although her family moved around a bit; from New York to Alabama to Georgia. Jamallah's childhood was mostly spent in Roswell, Georgia. At the age of twelve, Jamallah started writing scripts for her doll babies. As she got older, her inclination to write grew.Soon after reading her first romance novel at fifteen; she became hooked on romance and deviated from writing her doll baby stories, to romantically inclined stories. Her thirst to write eventually sent her from one out of the box experience to another. She eventually engaged her thoughts and writing into writing erotic stories. As Jamallah's interest as a reader grew, questions aroused her curiosity. Why were the heroines in the stories she loved so much, nothing like herself. She felt none of the women were full figured, or plump. To coin a phrase from the well known comedienne Mo'Nique, like "Thick Madame", a thick and curvy woman.Often she became upset because she felt there should be stories out there about all types of women, including thick, beautiful women like herself. Why were there no stories about full figured women who got the handsome hunk? She would ask herself after reading another romance story where the beautiful main character was thin. After researching and finding very few stories about curvy women, Jamallah thought it was time the romance readers market read more stories about full figured heroines. She started to write stories where the full figured woman 'ALWAYS' got her man!

DEDICATION
For my fans who always believe in me and my work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for always believing me in no matter what. You are the reason why I do what I do.
http://c.editingmyspace.com/files/en/backgrounds/military.backgrounds/military_background_019.jpgWhen I opened up my mailbox and saw the letter in the mail, excited wasn’t even the word for how I felt at that moment. It’d been about three weeks since I last got a letter and when I saw his name on the envelope, I smiled. Once I started reading it, I could feel my heart pounding so hard in my chest that it was quickly sounding in my ears. I had to read the three sentences a few more times to comprehend the words.
Baby girl, I’ll be heading home in about a week in a half. I can’t wait to see you and hold you in my arms. We will finally be together at long last, I love you.
My soldier is coming home....at last.
One Year Ago....
"You know I’ve been writing to a soldier in the Army," this is what my good friend Angela told me when we had been sitting outside on the patio of Panera Bread sipping on tea and eating our lunch. We would often have lunch every Friday to talk about our plans for the weekend.
Oh really, I didn’t know you were writing someone. How long have you been doing it?
I started about two months ago. You remember Jonathan that guy I was dating two years ago, well he’s in the Army and he was telling me about some of the guys in his regiment who wanted to talk with girls back home.
Basically someone they can get some sexy letters from right?
I chuckled as I took another sip of my iced tea.
No, some of the guys really want to just have someone to talk with. They go through so much while they are over in Iraq and the fact that some of them don’t have any family, it’s nice to have someone to be able to talk to and let them know how things are going in their lives. I started talking with a friend of his named Tony, he’s from Cleveland. I basically, tell him about how my day has been, what I’ve been doing and such. He’s already written me two letters so far. You need to give it a try Ione because I know you don’t go out much nowadays. You’ve been so busy with that book of yours.
I’d been writing novels for about ten years and had about fifteen books under my belt, all of them about something that had been lacking in my life....romance. I really didn’t like going out to clubs because my clubbing days had been over and done with. I got tired of dealing with men who honestly wanted someone to have a one night stand with. So, I put more of myself into my work. The outcome from all my hard work, well it led to bestselling book on New York Times and USA Today along with book signings all around the world.
Not bad for a girl who most folks didn’t think would amount to anything huh?
Let me ask you this question, do you plan on meeting this Tony guy?
Probably not, that is unless he wants to come and visit me here. He knows I live in Georgia but I get everything at my post office box of course.
Well of course, I know you aren’t stupid enough to give out your real address to a complete stranger. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind being someone’s pen pal. I haven’t been one to anybody since I was in the 3rd grade and I was writing to some girl in Belgium.
I smiled as we continued talking even more about this pen pal thing as well as what she had planned on doing for the weekend.
* * * *
Angela told me that she would email me the address along with the guy’s name that I would be corresponding with. I really wasn’t thinking much about it, because I thought the whole idea was nothing but silly. But of course, I would be helping out my fellow countrymen. Maybe bring one of them a bit of comfort. After all, they were dealing with the turmoil of fighting and helping others. Also, I had to admit that it seemed exciting as well, writing to someone again on pen and paper. Going into my desk drawer, I pulled out some stationary I’d gotten from a fan of mine. On each corner of the paper, it had daisies on it, which was one of my character’s favorite flowers. Grabbing my pen, I went over to my lounge chair and decided to start writing my letter out, even before I’d gotten the guy’s name.
Let’s see how the heck am I going to write this?
It should be easy as hell, I write every day, so a letter should be just as
