About this ebook
The press has dubbed the shocking series of events, "The Rock And Roll Doomsday." Several prominent bands have met with tragic and sometimes gruesome ends in short succession. Seemingly unrelated, they aren't. For the rash of tragedies happen to be following a young man in his efforts to see the bands play live. Every time he buys a ticket, another band perishes. Frightened by the disturbing events, he sees a fortuneteller who reveals that he is carrying a curse, and that the curse has doomed the bands he loves. He finds out that the curse traces back to his mother and her wicked church. She has cursed him as revenge for leaving her and her the church. But the real test is yet to come as he finds out he is the grand prize winner of something special from his all-time favorite band,"The Stoned Crows." With tickets to see them live and desperate to collect his prize, he is terrified if he goes there will be more bloodshed, more gruesome atrocities. The only thing he can do is confront his mother and her evil worshipers before she destroys everything he cherishes.

All my stories are being released posthumously. Oh wait, I'm not dead - at least not yet. Been close a couple of times and perhaps that drives some of the subject matter I write about. Anyway, I have completed seventeen short stories - ten of which I've published at the time of this writing, and also a Novella. More to come. The novel on the other hand is the literary temple at which I worship. I've got quite a few of those too, which I will publish soon. They run the gamut from murder mysteries, ghost stories, quasi horror, love stories, haunting's, dark humor, and in many cases all of the above. Basically I write whatever shows up or I guess whatever's floating around my psyche. How it gets there and why I don't really know? And maybe that's the best part of all, the exploration. Starting with nothing and ending up with something. Any way, if you've read me, I am humbled and I am grateful. Thanks, C Belding

He closed the door to his apartment and promptly locked it. He took a quick glance out the window and down to the street to see if he had been followed. And much to his relief, he had not. And thankfully it seemed like they
had forgotten about him.
He had moved out of his mother’s house two months prior due to her pursuit of a very dark religion. Now eighteen and officially an adult, he found himself free as a bird from her religiously, overzealous ways. He was now able to come and go as he pleased, able to stay up as late as he wanted, and most importantly, able to listen to music – for music was the pulsating temple at which he worshiped. Music of any kind had been banned in his mother’s home. But now that he was out on his own, he was finally free to enjoy whatever music he wanted to, and perhaps more importantly, able to attend concerts – as many as he could (He had never been and was hoping to go to one soon).Music was now readily available, and he had made the absolute most of it. In fact, one of his bedroom walls was completely dedicated to his extensive collection. He had roamed many a neighboring yard sale to find his ever-growing collection and had been amply rewarded for his efforts. For aside from his massive digitally, downloaded collection (which took up little if any space), were albums, CD’s and even some old cassettes. In other words, he was a total music freak. In fact his humble little bedroom was essentially wallpapered with posters of his favorite bands and artists. Music was constantly playing in the background whether he was in the shower, on the computer, or even while he slept. He lived and breathed it – plain and simple.TV was merely an afterthought in his life, for music reigned supreme.
His one bedroom apartment, which was located over a detached, two car garage, was his haven, his sanctuary – away from the tyrannical, dark practices of his mother and the others like her.
With the weather inching towards winter, he shook off the cold and quickly slid out of his tan, canvas coat before moving over to his beat-up, secondhand couch. He took a seat and carefully placed his coveted purchase on the small wooden table in front of him – he had found the old table in someone’s trash. So as he sat there, he found himself bathed in euphoria about what he had just acquired. He had waited all-night just to get it – was the first person in line and one of the few who had been able
