About this ebook

Vicious crimes have their consequences, and for one deviant inmate, he is about to find out just that. Enter the mysterious visitor. No one knows his name, nor do they want to, for his missions are not sanctioned by the board of prisons or any other legal means. His authority comes from supernatural means. Quite simply, he is there to pass judgement. On a stormy day, he arrives at an old Pennsylvania prison that he has visited many times during his tenure. He is there to visit a specific inmate named Blank. Mr. Blank is responsible for several murders and is about to be held accountable. He awakens in his jail cell only to find a mysterious well-dressed man seated across from him. A man known as prison legend or "The Ghost" as some of the older inmates call him. And it is there in Blank's cell that a little game of cat and mouse ensues under the premise that the visitor is there to release Mr. Blank from prison, no conditions. That he has the unequivocal authority to do so. His brand of release, however, is something quite different from what inmate Blank expects. For the soul's of the women that he killed will have their say, with his wicked presence.

All my stories are being released posthumously. Oh wait, I'm not dead - at least not yet. Been close a couple of times and perhaps that drives some of the subject matter I write about. Anyway, I have completed seventeen short stories - ten of which I've published at the time of this writing, and also a Novella. More to come. The novel on the other hand is the literary temple at which I worship. I've got quite a few of those too, which I will publish soon. They run the gamut from murder mysteries, ghost stories, quasi horror, love stories, haunting's, dark humor, and in many cases all of the above. Basically I write whatever shows up or I guess whatever's floating around my psyche. How it gets there and why I don't really know? And maybe that's the best part of all, the exploration. Starting with nothing and ending up with something. Any way, if you've read me, I am humbled and I am grateful. Thanks, C Belding

The skies grayed, for just perhaps, he had brought them with him. Seated in his car, he neared the ominous walls of a prison he had visited many times over the years. But his visits were of a different nature than say a family member or a loved one arriving to see an inmate. Quite simply, he was there for a release, his brand of release.

So while he drove by the thick, century old granite walls, one of the guards standing watch in one of the guard towers, high above, gave an obliging nod, for he was known.

He proceeded to the visitor parking where he parked quite a distance from the other cars scattered about the rather sizable lot. He turned off the car and stared through the windshield for a moment, some soothing classical music gently drifting from the radio. He waited another moment and then changed the track to another, what some
