About this ebook
Weddings are hell…
After a month of planning not one, but two, demonic weddings, all Faith Bettincourt—the youngest Crown Princess of Hell—wants is to spend some quality time with her angelic boyfriend, Matt. But when a ghost from Matt's past walks through Faith's apartment door, her preoccupation with the weddings from Hell is all that's keeping her from turning his ex, in all her devious angelic glory, into a down throw pillow.
Which is about when Matt's zealous mother declares war on Faith's family.
Now Faith will stop at nothing to stop the craziness and make sure the impending nuptials go off without a hitch. All she's got to do is rescue one of the grooms and go up against an army of so-called do-gooders, and everything will go back to normal. Or as normal as it can be where the Devil's spawn is concerned. With any luck, she might just be able to resuscitate her love life while she's at it.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This book was just okay. I don't really know what didn't catch with me. It could be that I didn't read the first book and I didn't feel as invested into the characters as I would have been if I had read it. I found Faith to be a bit annoying at times and other times hilarious. I sort of thought she would be a bit more devilish I guess with being a demon and the devil's daughter. She was too good to be a demon. Especially when Matt's ex fiancé stepped into the picture. I don't know how many people who would invite their current boyfriend's ex to stay with them. It made for some funny scenes but I would have killed her as soon as she said she was here to get Matt back. I'm pretty sure that's why I couldn't write a good story. I would kill off all the characters that came between me and my HEA. All in all I liked just not crazy in love with it.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Faith Bettincort, the youngest daughter of the devil had her hands full. Not only was her best friend about to marry Faith's brother, but Faith's mother was going to marry her father The Devil. As if she didn't have enough to take care of, Faith's angelic boyfriend Matt's ex came into the picture. Matt's ex brought more problems than they could imagine and that was when all of their lives start spinning out of control.I enjoyed this book. I read the first in the series and this book picked up where the other left off. I do feel it could be a stand alone, but I would recommend reading in order. I wish the end left us more satisfied, but I was glad to see the author has another book in the works so Faith's story was not over. Watch for the 3rd installment of the SPEAK OF THE DEVIL series, Before The Devil Knows Your Dead coming soon. Check out our review for Luck Of The Devil. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Devil May Care (Speak of the Devil) by Patricia Eimer“Weddings are hell…”To make this an enjoyable read, I suggest you read “Luck of the Devil” first so you don’t have to much trouble figuring out who is who and what is what. Although I have to admit, Ms Eimer did a wonderful job of giving just enough back-story without making it boring for those who may have just finished the last book. With this second entry in the “Speak of the Devil” series, we find our favorite daughter of the Devil helping to put together two weddings, fixing the missing drug problem from the last book, dealing with her ex-fiancé Dan who is back and trying to find her lost brother Tolliver. Oh and she is also helping out Matt’s old girlfriend Brenda, who has conveniently shown up and is now staying on Faith’s couch. In addition to all of that, just to add a little more stress to the days before the weddings, Faith also has to take care of the Angale and Matt’s evil mother, all who are trying to get to Matt to sacrifice him. Wow, that is a hell of a list of things to do before two weddings. And let’s face it, for Faith to be a bridesmaid in her mother’s wedding, and to wear the hideous dress her mother has picked out is a torture worse than Purgatory! There are so many wonderful sub story-lines going on and some people acting out of character ,that I am afraid to make this too spoilerish so I’ll leave it up to you to hunt them down!Thankfully, this book continues with the fast pacing and wonderful characters that the first book had. We still have the clever plotting and nice tight writing that makes this another fun read. I loved it that there were plenty of cool surprises to keep things real interesting (Malachi for one and Harold for another) I am so glad I had both books with me so I could go right from the first one directly into the second one. I just wish that the third (Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead) was out already! *ARC provided by publisher*
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5DEVIL MAY CARE picks up a short time after the ending of LUCK OF THE DEVIL. Everyone is busy getting ready for two separate weddings when not only someone from Matt's past shows up but someone from Faith's as well. Throw in Matt's Mom and Dad and the whole situation screams trouble.Faith is a great voice to follow and her life is anything but normal or boring. She does seem to make some pretty dumb choices in book 2 and I really wanted to shake her a few times, but the events played out at a great pace. I still enjoy Matt but wont go more into him for this review. Brenda, WOW she is a piece of work that one. I disliked her instantly and loved everything that came her way. The relationship between Faith and her parents, especially her mother has changed a bit and they seem to get along better. I didn't think that there was as much humor as book 1 held but DEVIL MAY CARE still had me laughing and was still very entertaining. The wedding dress scene had me in hysterics so when that time comes I suggest you use the washroom before preceding or you might just pee yourself laughing so hard. There were quite a bit of heart wrenching emotional moments as well especially towards the end so keep the tissues handy.I was sad with how things left off, hoping the situation doesn't last long and I will be picking up book 3 when it is available. This has been a fun series so far. You might be able to read DEVIL MAY CARE as a standalone but the first book has a lot of back story and you probably wouldn't want to miss out on it.
