About this ebook

The Succubus Confesses is a series of stories written in no particular order and intended to be read similarly. The narrator, Zuzanne, claims to be a daughter of Lilith, one of many sisters. She has lived among humans for several millennia, receiving nourishment from the vital life energy generated by her human lovers, but also giving inspiration to their endeavors.

An Inquisitor Meets His Maker tells the story of Zuzanne's search for her last living sister which takes her from Northern Italy to France. Zuzanne is drawn to Loudun where demons have taken possession of a convent of Ursuline nuns. On the road into France, she hears tales of exorcism, torture, and execution. She fears her sister has been caught up in the chaos of this 17th century witch hunt. When she arrives in Loudun, she finds that the fate of her sister is far worse than she had imagined.

This story is graphic in nature and is intended for adults only. This story contains descriptions of exorcism, torture, and less than consensual sex. All characters depicted in sexually explicit scenes are over 18 years old.

    An Inquisitor Meets His Maker

If you have followed my tales, you know I am able to alter my appearance over time; my face and body shape, hair and eye color, apparent age. I am a master, perhaps mistress is more apropos, of masquerade; make-up, wigs, clothing of all kinds. I learned early in life to feign aging when I remain in one location for an extended time. To do otherwise raises suspicions among my human hosts – guarded looks, mutterings about unnatural youth and pacts with the devil. You know the sorts of things people say. Another of my abilities is to influence the thoughts and behavior of the humans I live among; even humans possess this power to some degree. Through sexual pressure I can achieve most of what I want from any person, male and female; usually what I want is mutual sexual gratification and an infusion of life energy from my partners. My influence is not malign. Not usually. The story I will tell you this time is one of deception, disguise, and malign influence, and I will recount the one deliberate murder I have committed in the many millennia of my life. Most often, I alter my form to conceal my identity; it is an act of self-preservation. In this instance, the purpose of my subterfuge was to exact revenge.

I have mentioned my sisters, true daughters of Lilith. We all went our separate ways long, long ago. From time to time, we encountered one another or communicated by surreptitious means. No, we are not telepathic; most powers ascribed to our kind,
