THE COLUMBINE
––––––––
After watching over and over the movie which had just recently been released, along with the deleted scenes, some of which were the ones Talitha was bubbling and the blurbs were all around. And seeing so many details that she could actually fill out the whole screen with pages and pages of the bloopers that she had found on the way, Giovanni got so enervated by his gorgeous fellow lady that he vented before he would explode in tons of regrets. After all, he gave her permission to do whatever she wanted.
He allowed her to be on that film, even when he was contrary to that decision. He went against his will and made her act in a very weak performance he didn't know how she couldn't be more ashamed. At least he was. And he was already regretting having made that, giving her that part and throwing it all over his face. She complained about most of everything. That her hair was messed up, that she looked ugly on the screen, that her make-up had covered her face like a clown and that she looked awful.
––––––––
After seeing what I would gently call
overacting that's not much of a cut. I didn't overly cut you scenes, as much as you did it yourself. See, honey! You complained and complained and I cut the parts you told me you didn't look nice... which was most of it.
You see, for me the critique seems to be of a disservice and I totally not deserved the treatment you are imposing on me. You are never focused, you never focus on me.
She stormed into tears, You always seem to have such a blurry image of me...
Foccus, Smudgy Pierrot,
she shouted. Talitha cried even louder. You usually don't focus, and you are 'fosco'
, she said, using the Spanish word meaning he was dark in the inside. She would always come up with words that meant nothing for him, but a world for her, revealing the great pride she had for her ancestors. Her real grandfather, not a step-granny, had come from Spain. And the stories she had heard from her mother's lips made her shiver in excitement and since then she looked for venture to pursue. After all, that adventurous spirit reigned in her blood.
Piero Fosco, you broke me as a dancer and now you are ruining my career as an actress.
There she goes again, the Drama Queen!
We are already in the twenty-century, we passed another century and you still didn't make me famous...and you have promised me.
Giovanni then took Talitha to the studio's lavatory and put her in front of a mirror.
Look, honey,
he said. Talitha was perplexed by her friend's gesture. Giovanni had her girlfriend's head in both hands and grabbed it so strongly that it felt like a nut being crashed between.
You are amazingly beautiful,
said her boyfriend. And he kept holding her hair up, saying, You are really, really astonishing!
Talitha started to cry.
You should use that in your favor and not against you!
Giovanni softly spoken speech made him overemphasize the word against
with a frantic tic-tac sound in his tongue that playfully tickled the back of her front teeth. Talitha only looked at her image on the mirror, the least ashamed of her lack of vanity, just then to start gazing deep inside her eyes paid close attention to her.
Use what is so unique in you: Your attitude, honey. I mean, your skills, your inner force, your love, your passion, not gratuitous, but with gratitude!!
That sentence, Giovanni’s judgment about her beauty, made Talitha ponder. Giovanni then left off with his precision his unique view of her, allowing the girlfriend to digest
