About this ebook
Kat Cunningham’s life is perfect. Errands with mom on Monday, lunch with the girls to catch up on the latest gossip and sex tips on Wednesday, sexy time with Russell on Friday and if she’s super lucky Saturday. This all change the day the love of her life unexpectedly dies, Mom.
Her days now consist of welcomed wine induced comas, picking fights with God, NO SEX (which leaves a girl very vulnerable) and catching a flight to Mexico City just to breathe. Through it all she discovers that there is a wine to compliment every mood and emotion which makes life a little less of a mess.
• Cabernet Sauvignon - when you’ve been betrayed (bastard)
• Pino Gris - when flirting with the idea of getting sweet revenge or just flirting
• Bordeaux - when dealing with multiple personalities (bitch mode)
• Pouilly Fuisse - just because it sounds so sexy
Sometimes life’s most amazing moments don’t happen when things are going perfectly right but happen when they are going terribly wrong.
Sherita Bolden
For author Sherita Bolden, it all began many waterfalls ago (Pisces) when she wrote her first poem at the age of seven about a butcher, a rat and a piece of cheese. It wasn’t until early adulthood when she rekindled her romance with writing and wrote children stories for her first animal (son) Baer. This love affair with the pen eventually blossomed into full blown lust for writing adult fiction. With many lessons learned from then until now, her latest novel Don’t Touch My Wine: Sometimes all a girl needs is her trusty journal, delicious wine and Max, will be released Feb 24th, 2014. As a resident of South Bend, IN (go Irish) she honed her writing skills and took a film class at The University of Notre Dame. Not only was she bitten by the writing/film bug, but turned into a writing monster, writing several unpublished works. It wasn’t until she relocated back to her home town of Anderson, South Carolina when she began to seriously pursue her passion for writing. In 2001 she wrote the feature screenplay The Life Project that placed runner up in the Dream Builders Screenwriting Competition. The screenplay was later produced as a short film in Atlanta Georgia. It was also during this time she entered the classroom, but not for writing. She earned her Associates Degree in Information Technology and Security Management. With the support and encouragement of her father Marshall Bolden in 2002, she wrote and published the book Been There Once Ain’t Going There Twice: a southern girl’s view on life, love, relationships. He was able to see the completed book a few days before he transitioned into the next life from his battle with lung cancer. For this reason Sherita considers this work to be her Pulitzer Prize. Today, an unapologetic wine lush with an unquenchable thirst for words, she now writes more passionately than ever and not only does she have one animal (son) Baer to share it with, but she has since added a Tyger and a Wulf.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I received this book as an early release copy through good reads in exchange for my honest review. If you've read one, you've read them all. This book is a classic midlife crisis scenario. The main character sets off to Mexico after finding out that her husband cheated on her, and after the death of her mother. There is nothing redeeming about any of the characters. They are not developed enough to really get a feel for who they are much less cheer for their victory. The story is written in journal form, so it is a quick read. But it is lacking in every way. The voice does not draw you in and the language is anything but eloquent. Not to mention the typos and grammar mistakes. I personally couldn't get past all the "you go girl", and no one high fives that much.
