    Jim had the day off from his job at Wal-Mart. He usually worked on Saturday, as he was the store manager, but he needed a break and took the day off. At 26, he was one of the youngest store managers, having joined Wal-Mart right out of college, where he studied history, expecting to teach at the high school level. Instead Wal-Mart made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. Now four years later, he ran a store just outside of Savannah Georgia. He still loved history, especially the Civil War. He studied every battle that took place and read everything that he could find on the subject. Living in the south gave him a plethora of documents on the war.

    Jim was not yet married but that would probably change in the next year or two, as he had been dating the same girl for three years. Sarah was a true southern girl, complete with a heavy
