- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A group of boys in Uganda who are kidnapped from their school and forced to become child soldiers in the LRA (Lord's Resistance Army). As they are forced marched into the wilderness they are told if they want to eat they must kill. No killing no food. Jacob is a rich boy with a famous, wealthy father and he holds tight to the belief that his father will come for them and he will be saved. In my opinion this was a pretty good book, I would recomend people that like war story or action story because in the story there is like non-stop action. I really liked Sharon Mckay style of writing because when i was reading it i was emotional.
