I agree, it's plagiarism of Sindee Lynn's Prince's and Donor Diaries: Jenna. There's a story expansion and change but the writing style is nowhere near as smooth as Ms. Lynn's. It's especially noticeable at the junctions between the copied and additional materials.

    Pseudonym or plagiarisms?
As I was reading this book I had the feeling that I had read it before and true enough, I did in Sindee Lynn's Prince's Donor. Both books are written almost word for word except the names have been changes and has the place. There is a noticeable difference towards the latter half where it has been more fleshed out. I suspect, that Miss Lynn's copied this book rather than the other way away.

Had I have read this one first, I would have rated it higher as it is the better book, I was just put off by the duplication.

Chapter One

Catina leaned back on the bed and peeked under the covers. She smiled at her lover with his head between her legs. He grinned up at her with his silver gaze and taunted her by running a tongue up and down the meaty part of her tanned leg.

I can’t get enough of you. Donte buried his head between Catina’s thighs and inhaled her scent before running his tongue over the folds hiding her clit. His applied pressure in the right spot hit his mark.

Yes. Right there, Catina moaned. Her eyes rolled to the ceiling in pleasure.

Though they’d just finished having sex, she was more than ready for round two. They didn’t get enough moments like this. She was too busy running around being the poster child for the Donor System, the program designed to place her with her vampire suitor. Being a public figure kept her in high demand, and her private life took the passenger seat.

Moments before, Donte had just taken her from behind. His large rod fulfilled all of her needs and more as it slid in and out of her wetness. Their union was the true union, and when they released together, all in the world was right, at least in Catina’s eyes.

A decision made years before by her father and another had almost taken this chance away from her. Her father had known about her true love yet chose to set her up with the Donor System anyway. For him it was a political move. She was the pawn in allowing him more power. Unbeknownst to him and the vampire elders, she and Donte made a way.

Her lover’s tongue vibrated against her clitoris. On reflex, her hips arched against him and she gripped the covers. Another powerful orgasm began to take over. She braced for it by sucking in her bottom lip as her eyes rolled to the back of her head. But, the presence of another stopped her cold.

Catina, a deep voice growled from the other side of the room.

Her eyes popped open wide and her body trembled. Euphoria was instantly replaced with fear. Though the room was dimly lit she recognized the tall muscular frame belonging Sorin, her donor’s body guard. She kicked her lover away. What a compromising position to be caught in—a vampire, who wasn’t her donor, between her legs.

Terror clinched a tight fist around her heart. The insistent beating pounded against her chest threatening to burst through her ribcage while the sound echoed in her ears.

Red piercing eyes glared at her through the darkness of the room. Your services are no longer needed.

But—

He left her no chance to respond. Sorin disappeared just as crafty as he’d entered.

We must flee, Donte whispered from beneath the covers.

His words didn’t need be repeated. The penalty for cheating on your donor was death, but only by the hands of your donor. Catina would run and not look back.

Chapter Two

Nyla Jordan leaned heavily against the closed door of her apartment. A bone-weary tiredness almost overwhelmed her.

Thank God I’m home. Her words echoed around the small space.

If ever there had been a week from hell, she had just experienced it in spades. She closed her eyes and willed away the nightmare. Her nemesis Wade rounded the corner to her cubicle. The scent of his overuse of cologne reached her well before he did.

Nyla, you’re going to have to stay late tonight with me to process this week’s applications. A shit eating grin remained plastered to his face.

She’d managed to put all of her hang ups over being the only African American at the donor selection center where she worked on the back burner but Wade always managed to remind her.

He moved closer, draped an arm across her shoulders and whispered. You know statistics show that black women are the least attractive. I beg to differ. You’re very attractive to be black.

To be black? The insult stung. Her stomach churched at the words she knew to follow. If the jerk who caused her agony hadn't been her boss’s son-in-law, she may have set him straight.

Her eyes popped back open as she leaned against the hard wood of her door. Hmph. Yeah right.

How dare he ask her to get him off prior to going home to his deathly ill wife? Not that he’d put it in those exact terms but the meaning was understood loud and clear. She enjoyed her work, but in that moment, she wanted nothing more than to be out of the building before she bashed his head into a wall.

Letting go of the sigh she’d been holding in all week, she pushed herself away from the door. She removed the feet-killing heals and headed to the back of her small apartment.

A hot shower, that’s what she needed. It never failed to do the trick. Already she could feel the heat from the water beating away all of the tension from this past week. If that didn’t work, she’d find something for the throbbing in her temples.

Her nose twisted up. She’d always had a problem swallowing pills so any kind of medication had to be taken in liquid form. It would definitely be a last resort. Besides, taking any kind of medicine was strictly frowned upon.

Her forehead knotted at the thought. Why had she chosen that moment to think of her donor agreement?

Nyla was depressed enough already and didn’t need feelings of her biggest failure adding to it. It was just one more reminder of how much her life sucked. She couldn't even get a vampire to have sex with her, when he needed it for survival. She wasn’t butt ass ugly but hardly a supermodel and her bank account was often depleted days prior to payday. Vampires just seemed to go for the well-to-do and close-to-perfect as humanly possible donors.

The proof stared her in the face every day when she entered the new profiles of the human donors after removing the ones who’d been selected by vampires out the system. Rich and beautiful profiles were the daily pick as donors.

Feeling worse than when she’d arrived home, Nyla moved through the motions of getting things ready for her shower, but her thoughts ultimately came back to the one subject which had haunted her dreams since she had been a teenager. Vampires were real.

Even though many years had passed since humans had discovered they were not the only race, at times it still seemed unreal. After all, vampires, werewolves and other such creatures are merely thought to be things of horror movies, but in reality, vampires behaved just like humans. Well, if you overlooked the whole blood-drinking thing.

Vampires went to work and took care of their families just like everyone else. They had intermingled in human society, their finger in every major corporation there was in America, Canada, and Europe. Nyla often wondered why there had even been a conflict when their existence had come to the attention of the government.

Not everyone thought or felt the way she did as was which evident by the humans attempt to extinguish them. The assumption, and a rather pompous one it had been, was that the vampires were merely acting on instinct. They were after all monsters.

The government had figured it would be an easy enough task to get rid of them. Their fledgling attempt resulted in the vampires nearly depleting their food source, humans, in retaliation.

In the end, needless bloodshed and loss of life on both sides amounted before a truce of sorts. Thus began the implementation of the Donor System.

Nyla had started her junior year of high school when the donor program was first mentioned. She could recall her parent’s horror over the thought that God-fearing men and women would be willing to help provide nourishment for the devil’s spawn.

By her second year of college, the database became a reality. Doubters of the program and of the truce had thought no one would be foolish enough trust creatures known to be killers. They had been wrong. From day one, the database had been a success. Nowadays, it was a main source of income for millions across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Nyla never told anyone, but she had wanted to be one of the first to sign up for the program. At night, she'd fantasizing about being with a vampire. A bite was rumored to be almost like an aphrodisiac. The more they continued to drink, the more it would only heighten the sexual experience. A shiver of excitement would run up her spine at the thought. Fear of her parent’s reaction had prevented her from even considering it as a viable option.

Thinking back on it now, Nyla wished she could say her decision to finally follow through with her dreams of registering for the database had been due to finally realizing she was a grown up and could do whatever she wanted. After all, by that time, she had been living on her own and paying her own way for a number of years.

Unfortunately, the reality was that her registering had simply been an act of rebellion. She’d never quite understood what it had been about this particular conversation with her mother that had sent her over the edge. After all, it was nothing new for her mother to berate her about her marital status or lack of one of the touchier subjects, her darker skin tone.

Her
