Arcadia And The Eye Of The Beast: Arcadia And The Mysterious Tablet from Göbekli Tep, #2
()
About this ebook
Dr. Arcadia Jones, having stocked up on weapons, clothing, supplies, and a vehicle, drives onto the plateau where the Göbekli Tep is located. She sleeps during the day and moves at night, and then travels on foot until she is at the ancient site. She spies men moving around the area, and discovers a trap door in the center of the dig that leads into hitherto unknown depths. She explores a massive, spiraling cavern that descends deep into the earth, but she is eventually caught and interrogated by a man named ‘The Whisperer of Angerwol’, the leader of the sect.
‘The Whisperer of Angerwol’ is a suave and sophisticated villain, and prepares drinks for him and Arcadia as he entertains her. Her attempts to learn of James's location are met with an offer to dance. Arcadia manages to learn that ‘The Whisperer’ plans on sacrificing James to Angerwol, who he believes sleeps under the cavern.
Arcadia then outsmarts ‘The Whisperer’ and escapes, hiding once again in the caverns. After evading patrolling men, she discovers James locked in a cell, and rescues him. On their way out, they stumble into the lowest room in the cavern, an altar suspended over an endless chasm, where something large and menacing sleeps.
‘The Whisperer of Angerwol’ and the men catch up with them at that moment and tie the two heroes up. Arcadia is secured to a wooden frame, while James is laid on the altar to be sacrificed. Will they manage to escape the villains and safe the world?

Chapter 1
The morning sun has not yet risen over the horizon, but the sky is starting to get some color into it as our heroine, Arcadia Jones, walks across the dusty plateau. Heat begins to ripple the air as she walks alone. She is stoic-looking with her adventuring khakis, boots, hat, and sunglasses. A bag is slung over her shoulder, and a loose gun holster over the other. She walks with determination.
She is moving at night, and laying low during the day. Soon it will be day. She is approaching the little village where James his grandparents are living and she hopes that they will be welcoming to her as she needs to see that document James told her about. Arcadia finds the address, knocks on a little blue painted gate and after what seems an eternity the door opens just enough to see a little man standing there with a gun in his hand. What do you want Missus
he asks while frowning his eyebrows. I am so sorry to disturb you
Arcadia replies, but I am a friend of James. He is in danger and......
.Immediately he opens the gate and ushers her to hurry inside and he is bolting the door behind them. They are standing in a lovely square court yard with a little fountain in the middle. Magdalena
he shouts, come and see who is here.
The man seems to be embarrassed now for having pointed the gun at her because he puts the gun back in a little hole in the wall next to the entrance gate looking a bit sheepish and he apologizes. Sorry Missus that I have been so suspicious but strange things have been happening around here and someone has to be very careful towards strangers
. A big tall woman comes running out of the house, dressed in long white garments. May I introduce myself
, the man says. I am Oman Latif, James his grandfather and this is my wife Magdalena
. Very pleased to meet you
,
