In Tool Belt Defender, Brittany Grayson finally returns to her home after surviving abduction by a crazed murderer. She is understandably nervous, but desires to return to a life as normal as possible. Suddenly, she begins to receive messages and signs of being watched, but since her abductor is dead, she might just be crazy. The contractor she has hired to build her deck draws her interest along with his daughter, but the stalker is shaking her vow to go on with her life.Cassidy’s Tool Belt Defender gives the reader several hours of enjoyable escapism in that land of happy ending with a few twists and turns along the way to keep the reader guessing until the end. It is a story of Brittany after she was being rescue from a psychotic killer. It was not a normal romance kind of story and this book has make me gripping with suspense especially when Brittany's stalker make his appearance at the midsection of the book. I feel sorry for Brittany for the mental torture she have to endured in the hand of her kidnapper It was just too much for one to take. Brttany's character to me is a very storng character in this book. In fact, her strong character has overshadowed the other character, Alex. Because of the loneliness and wanting to forget [in the case of Brittany], both of them make a truce to have a "benefit' relationship based on sexual attraction. But soon, both of them found themselves to be fallen in love with each other. However, with her past memories and possible another pycho chasing after her, Brittany rejected Alex. It took only one incident for her to realised that she need Alex.Although this is romance book, but the mystery behind the appearance of the pychotic who tries to imitate have me gripping with suspnese and it took me only a day to finish this book. ;)

Review: Tool Belt Defender by Carla Cassidy 4 STARSIt kept me surprised till the end. Read it straight through. Would be glad to read more books from Carla.Brittany Grayson was going to have a deck built on her house. She promised herself while she was held captive that if she survived. She called a local carpenter but he recommended Alex Crawford.Alex had two young men working for him on different jobs. Alex was a lawyer butafter the death of his wife moved closer to his mother-in-law and became a carpenter. More time to spend with his cute daughter. Alex lived a couple of houses away from Brittany and a block from Emily grandmother Rose.Brittany was kidnapped and held in a jail in a shed for 4 months before she was found. After awhile 4 others were held to and the Professional had told Brittany every day how he would bring pain and kill her when others were all taken. Her brothers where lawmen finally found her and rescued all of them. Now someone was watching her and leaving threats her brothers think she needs to get help. Brittany is also thinking maybe she is going crazy.Emily Alex 6 year old is so cute.I was given this ebook to read in exchange of honest review from Netgalley.
