The Christmas Fantasy - KT Grant

    CHAPTER ONE

All of Mandy Lockeheart’s dreams were finally coming true. She’d turn the big Three-Oh on Christmas day and finally accomplished her goal of losing fifty pounds after six years of hard work. The days eating a box of Dunkin Donut munchkins in one sitting, along with her best friend, Jessica, were gone forever. When the clock stuck midnight on the Christmas they had both turned twenty-four, they made a promise to one another to lose weight. No longer would they be the ones home alone on New Year’s Eve or without dates on the weekends.

As Mandy looked in the mirror at her knee-length fire-engine-red cocktail dress, she had no complaints. She could finally fit into a size ten. Goodbye to size eighteen days forever! She smiled back at her reflection while she put on her makeup. All those men who ignored her, or looked at her in disgust, would have the shock of their lives because she could say, without any doubt, she looked hot. Along with a new dress and shoes, her shoulder-length, strawberry-blonde hair had been styled to perfection by the hairdresser earlier in the day when she ventured to the mall. She gave her head a swing, enjoying the way the curls tickled the tops of her shoulders. The prowl for her man had begun.

Jackson Montgomery, her brother’s best friend, the one she’d been in love with for as long as she could remember didn’t stand a chance. Her childhood crush bloomed into love the summer Chris and Jackson both turned eighteen. She’d been thirteen, and Jackson treated her like a kid sister, and still did. But lately she had noticed he looked at her differently—with lust.

A shiver danced down her spine at the thought of his hot stare, the way he licked his lips while he watched her. She longed to grab him by his head and pull his face to hers, where she would kiss the very breath out of him. Hed tangle his tongue with hers, his taste filling her mouth as she pressed up tightly against him, rubbing her stiff nipples over his broad, muscular chest until she grew damp with need.

She blinked, shaking her head over the growing twitching between her legs. She had enough with the wanting and needing and not getting anything in return. For far too long she’d used her hand to stop the ache between her legs before she went to bed or whenever she had a few minutes to spare in the shower.

She’d come to a conclusion. Jackson would be her Christmas and birthday gift all rolled into one. The time for a real-life orgasm had arrived! In return, he would receive a very special holiday gift—her virginity.

She took one last look at herself in the mirror. "You’re finally going to get him. You are beautiful, fit, and looking good." She took a deep breath; shaking off the stray, negative thoughts that would creep up on her. Jackson might still think of her as Chris’s kid sister, but she’d change his mind. It was about time and long past due. I can do this.

Propositioning a man for sex might be easy for some, but for her, it was the second bravest thing she had ever done. The first was buying the itsy-bitsy see-through tan bra and thong set she wore under her dress. If everything worked according to plan, Jackson would take them off—maybe rip them off.

As she grabbed her purse, her cell rang. She fumbled for the phone, buried inside, and snapped it open. Hello?

Hey there, girlfriend. Jessica’s excitement came through clearly, matching Mandy’s own.

Hey, yourself. All ready for tonight? She tucked the phone under her chin and sprayed perfume on her neck, wrists, and backs of her legs, any place Jackson’s lips might wander.

You betcha. I can’t wait to show off my cute outfit to your brother. His eyes are going to bug out when he sees what I’m wearing.

She sighed softly. Her best friend had it bad for Chris, exactly like she did for Jackson. Jessica, we’ve been over this. He has a girlfriend he adores. There will be other men there you can choose from.

He’s using her for sex. He can’t help that sex drive of his. I can give him hours of pleasure and much more. Jessica left no room for argument.

Oh please. She rolled her eyes. I’ll pick you up in ten minutes. Be ready.

I’m ready, willing, and able. Jessica laughed in bubbly joy.

You and me both. Later. She hung up her phone and fixed her hair once more. She took a deep breath and winked at her image. Okay, it’s showtime.

She turned off all the lights, except the Christmas tree, and walked out of her apartment into the cool winter evening. Perhaps by morning the last remnants of her innocence would be gone.

    CHAPTER TWO

Jackson Montgomery surveyed the drunken and semi-inebriated idiots that milled around like sheep. Loud dance music combined with conversation pulsed in full tempo as Chris Lockeheart’s annual Christmas party swung underway. Large groups of people filtered throughout the house Chris had inherited from his grandfather. The clock had barely struck nine o’clock, but already people left beer bottles everywhere, dropping chips and worse on the carpet. He winced. Couldn’t they at least try to keep the food and drinks off the floor? He’d be the poor sap stuck helping Chris clean up. It happened every year. He took a swig of his beer, trying to figure out a way to cut out early. After working a double shift at the firehouse, he was exhausted, and his bed called to him.

Someone patted his back, and he turned to see Chris with his arm around his girlfriend of six months. Becky swung her hips to the music as Chris kissed her neck. He kept his smile in place only because Chris cared for the flirt. He was being kind calling her a flirt because a month ago, she had cornered him and tried to give him a blowjob in the back of the firehouse while his friend did training drills. He rejected her and then bit his tongue. Chris had love in his eyes and really didn’t know what type of woman he had on his arm. When the song changed, his best bud spotted him and walked over with Becky.

Hey, you two. He slapped hands with Chris and gave Becky a perfunctory kiss on the cheek.

What are you doing standing in the corner? You should dance or chat with some of the single ladies. Too bad I can’t. I’m off the market. Chris chuckled and winced when Becky poked him in the side.

You better believe it, mister. She gave him a pout.

Chris kissed her on the lips. Oh, baby, you know there’s no one else in this room that can even compare to you. He smiled, rubbing his nose against hers.

He grimaced from the display, and Chris grabbed Jackson’s Mets cap off his head and put it on his own.

    Give it back, Christopher.

Oh no, the full name. I’m in trouble now. Chris grinned, settling the cap more firmly on his head. You don’t get it back until you mingle. Wearing this hat as much as you do will make you bald before you’re forty.

He rolled his eyes and took another swig of his beer. Chris turned to acknowledge a friend across the room, so he didn’t see Becky wink and rub circles around her nipple with a finger. The silk black tank top she wore barely contained her giant, artificial breasts. At one time, he might have found her attractive, but ever since she’d come on to him, she
