1.  A Stranger's Love

That’s good, Laura, but can you show me your pouty side, something playful and sexy that will make every man out there want to be with you and every woman out there want to be you. 

I've worked with Carlos on several photo shoots, and he was always trying to get me out of my comfort zone by doing things that were more sexual and alluring, and for some reason I always trusted his opinion.

It took me a long time to realize just how special I am, and how being a plus size model can show girls growing up that you don't have to be stick thin. My philosophy is if you are healthy and you eat right, then it really shouldn't matter how others see you, but how you see yourself. 

Carlos, you're the only one that could make me do these things, but I think that you get a real kick out of seeing how far you can push me.

The shoot was for lingerie, and I was now wearing what could only be described, as a baby doll nightie with a small string in front that once unleashed would make my bosom become exposed. Pulling that small string, I leaned forward and held myself together, puckering and rolling my tongue across my lips. This would usually be a little bit too risqué for me, but I was actually having fun and enjoying myself, which meant that attitude would show up on film.

You know me too well, Laura, but you’re the only one that I feel is comfortable in their own skin and is not just doing this just for the money. 

I had to admit that the money was good, and I was living the high life, which included traveling the globe from one destination to the other. I wasn't the only one in the plus-size industry, but I was finding that most photographers wanted somebody like me, but only if they could see that the person actually enjoyed what they were doing.

Not even believing that I could make a living doing this, I fell into this industry by accident, when I went to one of the callbacks in my own hometown with a friend of mine. She was nervous and I decided that I would go inside with her, and lo and behold they liked both of us so much that they signed us to separate contracts on the spot. My mother was thrilled for me, but my father was less than enthusiastic and said that those kinds of magazines stereotyped women, and objectified them to the point of having eating disorders.

At the time, I was already 18-years-old, and could make my own decisions regarding my own future. Instead of leaving everything behind, I started this on a whim and just did it on the side, while I still continued my studies in college. During my college years, I eventually changed majors from biology to fashion. This was the type of industry that I was looking to break into, and I didn't even know that I had that interest until that day with my friend.

Veronica works as a regular model, but we see each other from time to time, and we always sit down and talk about where our lives were going.

Good God, this book is is terrible. I cringed through 3 chapters of terrible story and the most awkward dialogue I've ever read and just couldn't go any further. I mean, fuck. It's so bad
