About this ebook

Bonnie's son Casey comes home from his first year of college a changed man. Gone is the loving, considerate boy she knew and loved. He has been replaced by a hard drinking, womanising, misogynist who immediately dumps his long time girlfriend and embarks on a series of one night stands.

Fed up of Casey's treatment of the girls he brings home with him, Bonnie teams up with her best friend Suzy (mother of Casey's ex) and together they hatch a plan to show her son EXACTLY what it feels like to be in the shoes of one of the women he has treated like a piece of meat. Only, it isn't just the shoes that Casey finds himself wearing!

Whisking a sissified Casey to a packed bar, Bonnie and Suzy enjoy his discomfort as he is hit on by a pair of masculine jocks. One thing leads to another, however. It is safe to say this is one night neither Bonnie, Casey nor Suzy will forget!

    CHAPTER 1

‘Ahhhhh!’ I sighed as I eased onto my plump leather reclining chair and flipped through the pages of my steamy romance novel. It had been a long week and I was making the most of my final day of the peace and quiet of a house to myself. My son was due back from the end of his first year at University the next day and, as much as I enjoyed having him around, I had become very used to living on my own.

Casey was a darling, don’t get me wrong. Smart, funny, always happy to do as his mother asked of him and thoughtful enough to let me know where he was going of an evening. But his taste in music was, well, not my cup of tea, and he was not keen on a volume setting any less than ‘teeth rattling’.

I had just turned to my favourite chapter of this particular story (The Passion of the Pirates) when my telephone rang. I checked the number on the display - I’d had enough of cold callers. But I recognised the number instantly. My best friend Suzanne. I always had time for her.

    ‘Hey Suzy!’ I answered chirpily.

My friend’s cold tone wiped the smile from my face instantly. ‘I have a sobbing girl upstairs Bonnie. Do you want to know why?’

I did. I couldn’t imagine why Suzy’s daughter, and my son’s girlfriend, Tori would be so upset. She hadn’t seen Casey since the Christmas holidays, to my knowledge. Surely she would be beside herself at the prospect of seeing him again?

    ‘Why?’ I spoke hesitantly.

    ‘Your darling son. That’s why!’

I reluctantly set my book down (those marauders of the sea would have to
