My development as a Spirit Medium.

I would like to welcome you and hope that what you read here increases your knowledge of the Spirits. It may even confirm that experiences you are having are real and not just your imagination. You may even know of someone who is having a similar experience and my story may help them. May the blessing of spirit truth come to you and you walk in its light forever.

My childhood had no real religious or spiritual involvement at all. I always felt ‘different’ though and I thought it was to do with my size, as I am quite a small person. What friends were up to at the time didn’t appeal to me greatly. Still, I had a normal childhood followed by meeting my future husband Barry as a teenager. A home and family followed, and we were happy watching the family grow up and finally eventually start their own families.

For many years, I had the signs that were unrecognized at the time of some form of a spirit presence. Even in my thirties, while sleeping, my arms would rise and my hands would point to the ceiling. I would remain like this for long periods, unresponsive to my husband’s voice. Neither of us had any idea what was happening then. Barry had always been interested in spiritualist matters but just never thought that I was inclined that way at all.

At the age of fifty-nine, I found I was experiencing my hand shaking [or twitching] while sitting watching TV or reading in the evening. From a casual comment to our friend Betty Finn, a spiritualist, it was suggested that pen and paper be kept handy in case something happened. This was the beginning of an incredible journey for Barry and me. The date was 31st July 2000 and from scratches on the paper, slowly over a few weeks, a name was written in a simple style. The name was Maize. Maize was just a departed soul, an old lady, who had seen the opportunity to communicate and did so Very shortly after this other spirits began to make themselves known. And so it began.

The visitors increased in numbers and variety. Their writings made piles of paper, drawings, child-like sometimes, patterns and even an ancient writing style called Runes. Some were very personal messages. Then the visits from very highly evolved spirit beings that were eventually to take charge of me, so to speak. Some of these visits were so stunning, that I will keep them private. It was these beings that told me that I had been ‘passed on higher for my development.’

Soon whilst in a trance, before a spirit started to speak through me, I began to walk around, the house examining everything. The spirit would study photos and nod approvingly. This walking around happened many times with Barry following. The day came when sitting in the study, I looked at Barry and said in an odd voice, ‘I love you Barry.’ From this point on, spirit spoke through me and the writing diminished. There were so many spirit people ‘lining up’ to speak, we had to buy a tape recorder as Barry had trouble writing everything down. Since then all sessions were put on tape and typed out later.

    Some twenty-months later,
