About this ebook
The stars are very far away in terms of distances, but Not in terms of the times required to travel the distances. By applying Einstein's proven principle of Time Contraction, the many Earth type worlds orbiting distant stars become readily available for colonization. They are waiting to be claimed, it is only necessary to go there.
This book explains why star travel is possible Now, and how it can be accomplished Now. It explains the negative mind set preventing attempted star travel Now, and details the construction and operation of a feasible starship, The propulsion, life support and other systems are described in detail.
If you are interested in new world colonization and humanity's future in space, you should read and will enjoy reading, this revolutionary new book by professional scientist Phillip Duke Ph.D..
This book is science fact not science fiction. The Starship and its star travels just has not happened yet.

Starship To New Earth Now - Phillip Duke
Introduction
This book is science fact, not science fiction. To indicate the degree of content reliability, I term proven the material based on established and confirmed science, while material termed probable is based on established, but not yet specifically confirmed science. The possible is in agreement with known scientific principles, but is not based on them.
The proven is considered certain, the probable is likely, while the possible may or may not be valid. Speculation need not be in agreement with known scientific principles or facts, and so it is not allowed in these pages. There is no speculation here.
An Introduction describes the book’s purpose and method. Chapter One explains why interstellar space travel is considered to be so much harder than it really is, and presents evidence that it’s practical now. Chapter Two describes the relation of interstellar travel and time, and why time is not a problem. Chapter Three explains the starship’s design and operation, while Chapter Four details the starship’s Life Support System. Chapter Five is about the crew/colonists and their selection, while Chapter Six explains why we need New Earth NOW. Chapter Seven describes living conditions on NEW Earth, Chapter Eight discusses what to generally expect regarding life on other worlds, and Chapter Nine is about the expected native life of NEW Earth. Chapter Ten discusses the especially interesting and important subject of meeting intelligent ET’s. Chapter Eleven describes making worlds habitable by Terraforming, and discusses our space future. A Conclusion brings it all together. There are References.
Chapter1
Star Travel Is Really Not So Hard
The Present Belief Situation Regarding Star Travel.
This book’s thesis, its central concept, is that star travel and its corollary, colonizing Earth type worlds orbiting other Earth type suns, are in theory possible and in practice obtainable, at this time. Scientific evidence is presented that these extremely attractive goals are in theory and practice achievable now, and that they are much easier to accomplish in theory, and will be in practice, than is generally believed.
The concepts that star travel is possible, and that Earth type worlds are available for colonizing, are both generally considered invalid, because believed essentially impossible to accomplish. I say essentially but not completely impossible, because space scientists know star travel is possible in theory.
However they consider it to be so exceedingly difficult in practice, as to be essentially impossible. By essentially impossible they really mean just impossible. Star travel being considered (just) impossible, the subject of its being achieved is extremely out of favor, and so is never considered. This subject of star travel being theoretically and practically achievable now never being considered, it is never written about; and never being written about, nothing is ever published on it. Until now.
I am confident this is the only book ever published claiming that star travel is achievable now in both theory and practice, and detailing how it can be accomplished now.
You may ask, if star travel is even very remotely possible in theory, then in this age of rapid scientific achievement, why hasn’t it been achieved? Why hasn’t it been at least attempted? The reason why star travel has not been achieved, or even attempted, is not difficult to find. An endeavor believed essentially impossible to accomplish will not be accomplished, simply because it will not be attempted. It will not be attempted/accomplished for two reasons:
(1) Very few if any people will risk their lives in an endeavor that is (obviously) very risky and (essentially) impossible, and (2) even if people were willing to attempt star travel, where would financing come from for an endeavor that is expensive, (obviously) very risky, and generally believed (essentially) impossible?
As long as star travel is considered (essentially) impossible,
it will not be accomplished, because it will not be attempted. My purpose is to change the belief that star travel is (essentially) impossible, to convince that star travel, and colonization of other worlds orbiting Earth type suns, is possible now.
This book attempts to convince by presenting scientific evidence in support of its thesis, its central concept, which is that star travel is not only possible now, but also much less difficult than commonly believed, and that colonization of other star systems is also possible now, and is also much less difficult than commonly believed.
Briefly, the belief that star travel and colonizing are (essentially) impossible is due only to perception of the large distance/time involved. Distance/time is perceived as the only obstacle. The stories and books on the theme of star travel and colonization all present vivid descriptions of the very great difficulties distance/time presents.
The difficulties are portrayed as being so great, that although the task is in theory possible, in fact it is so difficult as to be (essentially) impossible. Such writings are rightly termed Science Fiction,
not science fact. Science Fiction is about people doing things that we cannot do now. This book however is NOT science fiction, because I maintain we can do these things now. We can do these things now, because in fact the distance/time is not a problem.
The distance is basically not the problem; the basic problem is the time required to travel the distance. But the time is really not a problem at all, because in space the transit travel time can be made as brief as desired, simply by approaching light speed. As the star travelers approach light speed time slows down for them. To approach light speed constant acceleration is required, and atomic energy makes this possible. So based on sound science, in theory star travel is both possible and practical.
Therefore my task should not be as hard as it first appears; I should not have to convince that the generally believed (essentially) impossible is possible, but only that it is really not so very difficult. However, it is the opinion of the public, and even of professionals who should know better, that star travel is just not possible, period. Since it is generally believed that star travel is just not possible, I begin by presenting evidence that it is possible, and only after that do I present evidence that it is not so very difficult.
To sum up, the present general belief regarding star travel and its corollary, colonizing Earth type worlds orbiting Earth type suns, is simply that they are (quite) impossible. The extremely attractive goal of colonizing other Earth type worlds is never considered seriously, because serious people do not seriously consider the (obviously quite) impossible. And of course serious people do not invest serious money in an (obviously quite) impossible venture. So of course star travel and its corollary are not attempted. And not being attempted assures
