Jessi Fearon
Author, entrepreneur, freelancer, writer, brand ambassador, accountant, blogger. Those would be my professional titles but the truth is, I am just a sleep-deprived mom to two boys under two working in between naptime and play dates. I love sharing my real life on budget through my blog, The Budget Mama in hopes of inspiring others who are walking down the road to financial freedom. Frugal living and learning to live within your means is not an easy road to navigate and I do not believe that you should travel it alone. My mission is to help others become a better money manager and to realize their full financial potential. During college, I realized that there were no courses offered or required for personal finance. I may have an accounting degree but all that really means is that I am qualified to balance your company's books. I had to learn the hard way in order to gain my lesson in Personal Finance 101.

The Four Basic Steps to Budgeting - Jessi Fearon
Introduction
In 2013, I wrote a blog series titled, Budgeting Basis 101: A Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up a Budget. The response to that series was overwhelming and inspiring. In an effort to help others reach their full financial potential, I decided to turn that series into an eBook. My hope is that you will benefit from having this eBook as a reference to building a budget.
Your budget will only work if you make it work. There is no magic formula or super-power spreadsheet that will make your budget work for you. If you want to succeed at budgeting, you have to be proactive
