- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5An excerpt from a larger book, this looks at the rivalry between English football clubs Manchester United and Liverpool, and while I'm a fan of one of the clubs, I'm not a huge fan of this short work.
It offers up a little background on the history of the rivalry between these two clubs, but does so without a lot of detail, so unless you know about English soccer -- and therefore are probably already aware of the rivalry -- there isn't a lot here to be learned.
The author is a good writer and we do catch a few personal glimpses -- details that enriched my understanding of the rivalry -- but overall, it's not enough here to really make the time worthwhile.
