About this ebook
Small town living for three young friends consists of bumpy rides down dirt roads with warm six packs of cheap beer. Tonight they're out to have some fun. Tonight they intend on causing trouble. When they pick up a beautiful stranded motorist in the middle of nowhere, they think they're in for some amusement. With a wry smile she warns them "Beware the night of the full moon, for wolves run free in men." The boys have other plans however. She's just a girl. The night is young, and so are they. Things aren't always what they seem, however. Often when something appears too good to be true, it's more dangerous than you ever could have imagined. If only one evil can prevail, will it be the darkness in men or the shadows of the night?
Aubrea Summer
Raised by a blue eyed warrior woman who told her stories before she was born and a father who sang them to her from the soul of an acoustic guitar, Aubrea Summer grew up in the wilds of Northern Arizona. Television consisted of three channels from an antenna, promising books to be the more fantastic of escapes. Winter sports meant a car hood tied to the rear of a moving pickup truck, decorated in teenagers who, more often than not, went careening into the mud puddles. There was never a lack of inspiration, and writing became her passion at a young age. Her dream is to one day own a house on sixty acres with room to take in all the homeless Rottweilers in the world.

Would you turn on the headlights before we…
Rear tires slid sideways, fishtailing before rubber dug back into the loose dirt and straightened the pickup truck. The black heap of slow moving muscle sauntered on into the field as if nothing ever happened.
Hit a cow. That’s what I was going to say, dipshit.
Terry salvaged his beer can from the floorboards, eyeing the lip suspiciously and sloshing the remaining liquid in the bottom.
I didn’t hit it, did I?
Graham freed another beer from the plastic ring and dropped it in his friend’s lap. Stupid thing shouldn’t be in the road. Quit bitching and have another beer.
Maybe if you had your lights on it would have known there was a road here.
Terry popped the tab, foam rising to greet him.
Moon’s full. I don’t need lights.
That doesn’t mean shit until the thing comes up. It’s still down behind the tit mountains and you still can’t see shit.
Terry couldn’t recall the actual name of the range, just that the twin mounds reminded him an awful lot about two important things he’d seen less and less of since high school ended last spring. Those were the glory days.
Graham pulled the lever, igniting the flat dirt before them in yellow light. Happy now? You know sometimes you sound like Maria, and there is a reason we aren’t dating anymore. I can’t dump you, seeing as it’s too late to make new friends at my age.
Terry snorted. "It was too late when I met you. I’ve just got nothing better to do than drink warm beer with you and your bad hygiene in this dusty truck. I blame it on ambition,
